The sun still shone outside Once Upon a High as the bell tolled, signaling second period was over and it was time for the students to make their way to their third period classes. In just moments, the halls flooded with students-as well as the sound of all sorts of conversations-greetings, complaints, arguments, and more. Meanwhile, the third period teachers were getting ready as well, some already making their ways to their classes-Kingdom History, Villain History & Skills, Chemythstry, and Advanced Chemythstry. Hidden in the dark folds of their cloak, a teacher waited in the pitch-black corner of the classroom, unable to be seen. Another applied a blood-red coat of lipstick and adjusted her dress. The bell stopped ringing for a bit-there was still plenty of time to get to class.

𝒸𝓁𝒶𝓈𝓈 𝓈𝓊𝓂𝓂𝒶𝓇𝒾𝑒𝓈

literature [first & second period] Ms. Sapphire Lim introduced herself, gave each student five bathroom passes for the entire semester. Asked any student(s) who were too disruptive to stop. Also spoke about the back to school formal.
homework : writing a paragraph about a book you relate to

advanced literature [first & second period] Mr. Robert Bisson introduced himself, and let the students come up with rules they thought would be good to have in the class. He also spent a good amount of time lowkey-arguing but in a kind/respectful ish way with Ashton Shadow. He also talked about the dance.
homework : reading a passage and writing about it

mathematics [first & second period] Ms. Galarza Rossum introduced herself, saying students will never be allowed to go to the bathroom. Gave the students in first period extra homework because of two disruptive students.
homework : two math worksheets + reading and annotating two pages // two math worksheets

advanced mathematics [first & second period] 3arl introduced himself, talked about the dance, and talked with a few students.

𝓌𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝑒𝒶𝒸𝒽 𝒸𝓁𝒶𝓈𝓈𝓇𝑜𝑜𝓂 𝓁𝑜𝑜𝓀𝓈 𝓁𝒾𝓀𝑒

chemythstry : teal walls painted with green bubbles. posters of the periodic table, magical elements, and such scattered across the wall in no particular fashion. School supplies scattered about, even some stray supplies on student’s desks. The atmosphere is curious and a bit cluttery. There are rows of desks and the chairs are made of plastic. Some are bar stools, some are regular chairs. The temperature is cool and even a bit humid. and there is a very large green plastic bottle on the teacher’s desk at the front.

advanced chemythstry : The walls are black, though this does not make the atmosphere gloomy. The walls are black because they are chalkboards, and can be written on with chalk. The desks are in neat rows, and have been wiped clean. There are charts on the wall, as well as cabinets and such. The temperature of the classroom is pretty cold, and the vibes are quite magical-almost whimsical.

kingdom history & management : The walls are red and velvety, with gold and black accents-like the interior of a castle. There are heavy curtains to block the window, so the classroom is quite dim. The vibes are grand but a bit dreary as well. The desks are in neat rows, the seats are (alternating) red and black plush stools. On each desk is a tiny truffle, wrapped in red and black paper. The temperature is more on the cold side, though not freezing.

villain history & skills : It is very dark in the classroom, though not impossible to see. The window is nowhere to be found. The walls are black. There are desks and plastic black chairs. There are portraits on the walls of some of the most famous villains-but that is the only decoration. It is definitely chilly, and the atmosphere is… offsetting and not welcoming.
