Voodoo is subjective to the user, the idea that it’s light or dark comes from colonization and they made it “dark magic” bc everything non-white is bad to them so
Juju is subjective, Voodoo is subjective and seeing as Mama Odie is a black woman practicing hoodoo/vodoo idk how naming her pet after a magical object is appropriating it’d be appropriative if ur not apart of that culture or background
