Oh my god I’ve got an idea … since Alcie only has hairs long enough to curl on his head and not on his torso, Colden would have to climb on his back a little and one of his cousins would get into this place Colden created or sent them to and find Alcie and Colden in what he thinks is a provocative position, or at least what it looks like from his point of view and we can do an homage to Plaut (Plautus) by doing the same joke he did millenias ago where one person in a converstation of two thinks the other person is talking about one thing, while in fact he’s talking about another but the replies and questions all make sense for them both to believe they are talking about the same subject.
I forgot how the joke went in the book, but there’s a recent TV show from the Balkan that had the same type of joke.
Father, was lead to belive his daughter was involved in something nasty and sexual
The Daughter was involved in a minor car crash, nobody hurt, very minor consequences but still afraid to talk to her father to tell him she was the reason his car was scrached from both sides
Cool Uncle is the one that knows what happened to the daughter and has offered to tell her father for him and maybe soften the blow a little bit so she wouldn’t be in trouble
Father (F), Daugther (D), Cool Uncle (CU)
It went something along these lines as I remember it (ofc I don’t remeber it but I’m going along the way of the joke)
F is in bar, CU comes to talk to him
CU: I’ll tell you what happened with D
F: I know what happened with D, you don’t have to tell me
CU: Great, so then you don’t have to punish her
F: I just wish I could him and I’ll demolish him
CU: It wasn’t one of them though
F is disgusted
F: Two of them?
CU: Yes two of them. It wasn’t her fault really, she was banged on the front side with one, and then another one banged her back side.
F is crying I think, I remeber him being teary eyed but idk
F: Please, that can’t be true
I don’t remeber how it goes but you can see how confusion or misinformation can be greatly used for comedy

I just found the episode in question, he didn’t think she was involved in some sexual thing, he believed she was pregnant becuase she was throwing up a lot and he found a baby test in his trash and believed it was hers while in fact it was from the girl he fancied who slept with his brother (the cool uncle) and there the confusion grew by involving more people where people ended up asking “Wait who is pregnant? The waitress or the daughter” and it turned out nobody was pregnant.
