Yeah, I think they could do quite a bit. I also think it’s weird/sad that you’d allow this (as a novel) but not the other novels/stories. They all novels and not really folk tales. (pleading_face)

As this is all set around Christmas, in England where Christmas traditions are celebrate like Santa, it is about how a man is visited by three Christmas ghost. They help him to realise the miracle of Christmas. However, in all of it, Santa is not mentioned, they are traditions without him, as if he doesn’t exist. Meaning that Santa is not a tradition in England when he actually is.

Yeah, you do use novels, sure. Though the ones we have are also folk tales, as in there have been retellings through history. Though this A Christmas it’s not retold, it’s never changed when it is remade into another film. This makes it a story only and not a folk tale.
