so you have an equatiion
y = sqrt (2x+2)
PUT ALL THE NUMBERS INTO it
so if you’re doing 6<x<8
do Sqrt(2x8+2) - sqrt (2x6+2)
and figure out which one is the smallest rate of change

whereas the first one is like 2.44
meaning the rate of change for 6 to 8 is smaller
