Okay I’m deciding between Kahuna and Kale
Kahuna means secret and his mother would’ve given it to him because later she realised he was a nightmarcher’s son, so that would be his secret identity
Or she would name him Kale which means man, so that when she realised there’s a possibility her son’s father is a nightmarcher, she didn’t want to believe it, so she named him literally man as if to label him as one of the people, not one of the spirits. That was wrong however, because he is half spiritual.
