Ariadne nodded-she did like Bay, apparently! Bay smiled-another friend!! That was great!! She loved Cameron the mostest, but it would be nice to have a close friend like Ariadne-she was really cool. She shook her head, though she stayed positive-kindly smiling. “Oh no, I don’t…I uh, I don’t swing that way.” She got out awkwardly. Bay thought for a moment, then lit up. “Ohhh, you’re straight, I get it!!” Bay paused for a moment, deep in thought. “That’s cool! I like guys and girls, so I guess I’m like a normal swing then, since I swing both ways.” She winked, sticking out her tongue playfully. Ariadne was looking at her brother though, which Bay didn’t find weird since they had literally just been doing that.
Ariadne shrugged, saying it could have been better. “Well, I was a little fiery ball of anger and sadness then. Nobody taught me how to control my emotions so I was kind of figuring it out.” She went on to admit. Bay was surprised at how much they had in common-especially with their past… though Bay would never admit her own hehehe we will see about that- “You’re not still a little firey ball of anger and sadness, right?” Her dark eyes shone empathetically. “Don’t skip school to learn to cope.” Was Ariadne last sentence-some advice. “I swear!!” Bay didn’t do that anymore. “Hey, even though you’re not sixteen anymore, you can still live that way! A lot of people here are sixteen, and this school is super fun!! You can make up for those angry, sad times.” Was Bay’s terrible advice. When she said the words ‘angry’ and ‘sad’, her eyes narrowed and she pouted.
“A mermaid? How exciting! Is it weird going between land and sea?” Ariadne gave Bay some questions of her own. “A bit… I don’t know too much about land.” Bay admitted, though strangely, she said it almost like it was a good thing. “I love land a qualazillion times more though!! What’s awesome is I can still be a mermaid in the ocean. Actually, I live underwater-with Cam.” Her eyes widened and she turned even paler. “AHHHH!!! FORGET I SAID ANYTHING!!” She screamed quickly. “I was NOT supposed to tell you that.” Her voice was a hushed whisper now, tone much more desperate.
