I smiled but then thought about what she said “Anime?” I recalled something “Oh I’ve heard of that before. I assumed it was another word for a cartoon, you know an animated one, but when I called an anime a cartoon somebody got really offended and almost shouted how they’re not cartoons. Didn’t say much more than that, except a swearword, but I doubt that would lead me to know what animes are.” I turned to her “You seem like you understand it though, do you know what is it?”
