“Hello.” Fern gasped slightly when the creature in front of her spoke. “Well, I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised you can speak. We are at a school filled with oddities, myself included.” she laughed slightly, nodding when the creature said she accepted head pats. She walked closer and gently pet the creature on the head. “What’s your name? I’m Fern.” She wanted to ask what the girl was, but she definitely didn’t want to be rude.
