"Need nothing but an answer to a question… " Azziz didn’t want to become a wishy-washy, that wasn’t how he was raised. But, he felt awkward asking someone else, a real person, for help, especially over this topic. “Would you… Consider, possibly… Helping me live?” Azziz asked, hoping it made at least a little sense.
Azziz looked up to study Falcon boys face before pulling out the mixture from his pocket. “Addictive, huh? Where’d someone like you get that? I didn’t think you’d be into that kinda thing.” Azziz half smiled at this. “I’m usually not, but again, addictive. Usually only use it in near or almost near death situations though.” Azziz said, dropping it into his pocket, glad not to have gotten any on his skin. “As for where I got it, I don’t ask questions for things I don’t want to know.”
“While we’re both peregrine falcons - from what we can tell, at least - my front is almost completely white and my back is black, but my dad’s just all black. You can’t even see him at night.” Azziz smiled softly looking to the earth, as Falcon Boy explained the differences. “Good I suppose, I’ll be able to spot you than.” Azziz said, not even planning his words as he usually tried to.
“So… you’re into hunting or…?” Azziz felt his stomach drop a little. “In a way, yes.” Azziz didn’t want to scare off the boy at this point. What would he say anyways. Yeah, my dad taught me to kill monsters, such as people like you, and we’ve been doing that for almost a decade. Azziz internally rolled his eyes. How comforting. “I’m just going to assume, your better off not knowing.”
“Azziz, huh?” Azziz shrugged as he turned to falcon boy. “Peregrin, like the falcon. Dad kinda missed the ball on that one.*” Azziz couldn’t help but smirk. “Well, Peregrin, would it be much to ask to be acquaintances?” Azziz didn’t know why he didn’t just say friends.
