The school dress code was thankfully an easily manipulated one. Though she was hardly androgynous, the ability to swap and change between the boy’s white uniform and the girl’s burgundy one meant that Cinder could still comfortably wear pants while just throwing the blazer around her waist counted as wearing it. Tying her hair up in a loose ponytail and finding her shades in the depths of her bag, Cinder rolled her neck and stretched like a cat before pulling on her boots and making her way down to the Castleteria. She didn’t have any money on her person at that moment, and she really wasn’t in the mood to charm it from the staff, so instead she just waited for some kid to order something she wanted, tripping them up and snatching their tray before they could spill the food on the floor. She was gone before they had even noticed, and heading outside she kicked off her shoes and let her toes sink into the grass. Ever since she had returned from hell, it was like every natural feeling was ten times better, food more delicious and the sounds and sweet scent of the air even more intoxicating. Taking a seat by a tree, Cinder streached out and enjoyed the feel of the sun on her skin. That was, until it became shady, and Cinder cracked open an eye to find a girl standing not too far away but blocking the light.
“Hey!” She picked up a cocktail sausage and threw it at the girl, hitting her square on the back of the head. “You mind?”
