Tulip seemed to be doing her best to make things less awkward, so Nika figured he should do the same. He shook his head, “I don’t think I need any help. Though, if I did ask for help, you shouldn’t trust it. Since I’d probably pull you back onto the ground, so you make that cute squeak again,” Nika snickered. He hoped she could tell he was joking, or else that would sound creepy. Nika got to his feet and tossed one of her chips into his mouth. It wasn’t too bad, maybe a bit overwhelming if eaten all at once. That made Nika wonder if she thought this was disgusting, how would she react to his usual treat of honey and butter. “Not the worst thing to be a guinea pig for, though I admit they are greasy. You know, it’d probably help if there was a drink to help wash it down.”
