Hanako smirked when Lav said she didn’t look sly. “Oh, you have no idea. I’d do something here, but I know what would happen. I’d get something worse than detention.” Hanako said, looking around nervously. “What have you had before this?”

I don’t think being sly would bring anybody into detention, but I didn’t want to say anything about it because I supposed a person that can turn into a fox knows more about the meaning of the word sly than I do, a person who’s never even seen a real fox before today when she turned into one. I must say though, the drawings of foxes might’ve made them look almost ethereal, but when Hanko turned into one it’s like she erased the word ‘almost’ from that observation.
“What have you done before this?”
Hanako changed the subject, probably for the best, but I wouldn’t know since I’ve encountered most of my conversations as a reader of them.
I was ready to tell her everything about myself, but I stopped myself, realising Hanako just admitted to being a very sly person, and even though I enjoy talking to her, she might not like it at all, and like a hero or a heroine of a book I must not give away to much withouth knowing what kind of person I’m dealing with.
“Nothing” I replied. It was tehnically the truth, beacuse I did nothing before coming here, but I didn’t want to into detail, even though I felt nothing would’ve happened would I have told her everything in full, I wanted to be careful, because a sly person can give that effect to people and have them spilling more than they should.
“What about you?” I asked, knowing if I left it at ‘Nothing’ withouth saying anything, she would suspect something and would probably ask me more, to which I would have to answer, so by asking her a question straight afterwards I hopefully avoided that.

There isn’t a price. My ‘magic’ is not dark magic or really ‘magic’ as you humans describe it, I am no witch I am a goddess or at least close to that position. A god’s magic is way different.” Quill nodded slowly, “So it’s not actually ‘magic’, magic?” Quill said more to herself then to Kristi.

No hard feelings smurf” Kristi said, getting Quill to look up with a slight frown. The bucket had appeared over her head, again, as Kristi snapped. The water spilled on Aquila before she could roll her eyes. Her mouth hung open for a second, and she reached out with her hands, as if trying to “catch” the water. Kristi snapped again before she could object or become enraged, and she was dry. Aquila touched her head, shoulders, and everything else that had gotten wet in an awkward manner. She wasn’t sure if she “should” be mad, even though she really wanted to. The sensation was odd, a combination of shock and… rage maybe? “Scr^w you… but also, thank you… I think?” She said in a way that sounded almost like a full question.

Hanako blinked in confusion, fixing her glowing eyes on Lav. “Classes. I meant what classes you have.” She said, snickering. While it’d be interesting to know what Lav did before coming here, she was asking what classes he’d had. Maybe they had another class together. That would be nice.

“Oh” I said feeling a little embarrased. “In that case, I didn’t mean I skipped them … I would never skip classes when literature is one of them.” I shut up there and sighed. I just felt so comfortable around her I just gave one of my major traits away. Now she knows I like reading. But then I remebered what I previously thought, and though it previously bothered me, now it might be a saving grace. I thought that maybe being introduced to a world filled with possibilities and many new things to do and explore I wouldn’t be so fond of reading as I was until now. So with a smile I said “So yes, I had advanced literature and mathematics.” I did give away a huge part of my identitiy by admiting I’m fond of books, but I was ready to see her reactiong to it, because I was ready to fool myself into thinking although she may say she’s sly, she isn’t going to be that way with me because I’m to insignificant.

Hanako smiled when Lav said he liked literature. “I like reading too. You get to get lost in another world.” She said. She was glad that she’d found a male who liked reading like her. “I have advanced literature too. I’m surprised I didn’t see you. I have basic math, though. I’m not very good at basic math, let alone advanced math.”

When she smiled at what I said and kept talking about literature, I was happy to find out she wasn’t going to be sly with me, just as nice as she was to me until now. I smiled back saying “Well maybe in literature class we weren’t so different than the rest of the class as we are here, Hanako.” I also nodded when she said she has basic math, just like me. “I have basic math too, I’ve never been to a school like this one before so I’m not that introduced to the concept of math different form what I’ve been taught at home.” I chuckled and said “Wow … Hanako, we’ve spend the whole day together withouth even realizing it. It’s my fault really, I don’t understand how I wouldn’t notice someone so naturally beautiful. No doubt you didn’t notice me becasue I’m somewhat new to this world so I kept to the sides looking practically invisible.”

“Heh, we’re rebelling, huh?” Hanako chuckled. “Yeah, we have!” She said when they realized they’d spent the whole day together. “We didn’t even realize it. That’s pretty funny.” She flushed when he called her beautiful. “Uh…yeah. Sorry for not noticing you.” She said awkwardly. Well, oops. Apparently he’d noticed her. Honestly, she always thought she was average looking.

ORP: Does it bother you that he often calls her name in sentences? Because if it does I could stop it or excahnge it for a cute nicename just like “Sassenach”

dbc7ca4cbc0feaa780fb50269f96e87645582403_2_516x99

“Don’t apologize for that unless you want an apology back considering I didn’t notice you either until we mentioned our classes.” I said. “In fact … Maybe we’ll be spending the rest of the day together, tell me, Hanako, what the rest of your classes are, maybe we’re lucky enough to be in the same ones today.” I hoped me saying I’d be lucky to be in the same classes as her today wouldn’t make her think differently of me, I just really like her company. I’ve never met somebody that is so like me but still has more to offer than that. I’m lucky I met her, even more so if I get to see her often, but if she doesn’t think nearly the same of me, the sentence I just said to her could scare her off, and I’d barely be able to see her, which is the last thing I want. However I didn’t know what to say for her not to think that so I just didn’t say anything, hoping I wouldn’t make it worse.

“You’re the one in love with me. It’s okay, don’t be in denial.” Lyna chuckled, how was she in denial? As far as she knew she just met the dude and he was super arrogant- a real turn off for Lyna. Well except if those boys were her fictional crushes then they can step on her all they want and she would apologize for destroying their shoes with her face but this was real life. Lyna had never met a boy as delusional as him.

“People often hide their true feelings, but I get it, you’re head over heels for me.” Lyna looked at him like he had gone mad, he probably had long ago. (Myria: Poor delusional child) . The boy was really not a clown but the entire circus. Lyna crossed her arms over her chest and raising her head she said " “Look here, you are not my type and my standards you can never meet.” she flipped her hair " “Also don’t you have somewhere you wanna be at?” The Walmart harry style was really starting to p^ss her, she wished her sister was here. She would have known what to do.

“Also, I’m everyone’s type!” Lyna rolled her eyes, “I don’t believe that at all, actually you are no ones type just a poor delusion child who crawled up from the depths of hell”

@idiot.exe- Elias

“Thank you. You don’t know what that means to me.” Haldir scoffed, he was acting way to nice and Haldir didn’t like that. Didn’t he know better than to act so nice? “Do not thank me” The words left his lips as he grabbed a story book from his bag. He hoped the cow-boy learns better about being weak and especially in front of people who could use it against you.

“So it’s not actually ‘magic’, magic?” Kristi nodded “Exactly”

“Scr^w you… but also, thank you… I think?” Kristi winked, “You wished you could scr*w me babe but unfortunately I’m as rare as a diamond” Kristi layed down, the breeze making her sigh. She touched the ground and whispered ‘you still mad at me?’ silence, she heard again. ‘you know I could-’ kristi paused what she was saying when she saw two girls laughing, she snapped her fingers and they fell down. Why did she do that? No one knows.

I noticed the elf has scoffed so I had to assume he wanted to listen to the lesson and I was bothering him and stopping him from paying attention. When he said “Do not thank me” I didn’t know if it was him being annoyed with me, or him being humble, or perhaps both, but knowing there was nothing to add to the conversation or he will be annoyed even more I nodded and kept silent and I shifted my atenttion from him to the lesson.

Mal’da snuffed and stopped after hearing them. “Who are you? What are you?” He growled, the second question coming out a little more intensely. He had never met someone who could actually understand him. Merida made good guesses fifty percent of the time but she couldn’t actually understand him. Unless of course this girl was lying. Why would she, they were already free to go? Mal’da huffed and looked at the girls, his piercing human eyes stared at them and they were staring back.

When Odin said she would be better off here, she expected something open and grand. Those were what this place called “Once Upon a High” possess, but, still, her expectations weren’t really met. It had this setting called classes she was completely and alien to, and apparently she was supposed to sit in different rooms in one day. Instead of a battlefield she deserved, she was to do that. She wasn’t even allowed to bring her weapon anywhere, and she was forced to wear an “unsafe” clothing. Mychyst wasn’t really used to any other clothing aside from her usual heavy ones, and wearing these new ones made her feel new—it was as if her shoulders were floating.

Though if she were to be honest, this felt good.

The more she thought about it now, the more she wanted to ask Odin for another “safe place.” But how can she, though? When she tried to get out of the premises one night, there was this unseen force that kept her out no matter how much she pushed her self through. Because of that, she only ended up with a wide bruise on her arm, which, hopefully, no one will ask her about. This was definitely Odin’s work, since she could see that other people from the castle could freely go outside.

So today, she is sitting in one of those rooms, silent and seemingly invisible. It was not like no one saw her—she even caught some of the people in the room glancing at her, but it was that no one dared to be near her. Perhaps they were intimidated? Well, who would even want to be with a girl with quiet and unsmiling face?

This person, apparently. A very tall person. She ended up staring at them the whole time, not because she was surprised that they sat beside her though, but because of their entrance. Almost bumping their head, muttering to themselves, to when they sat seemingly uncomfortably. Mychyst’s eyes looked at them from head to toe to eyes, “You don’t seem fine with it,” she said, referencing to their statement.

Hanako nodded when Lav said she didn’t need to apologize. “That’s fair.” Hanako pulled out her schedule and glanced over it. “Advanced Chemystry, basic dark magic, Art, culinary, and study hall.” What about you?” She hoped they had more classes together. Lav was very nice and she wanted to spend more time with him.

Emerson turned to the girl with an uncomfortable smile. “You’re right. I think I’m stuck. Well, crap.” Emerson sighed, their legs bent at a painful angle. “Soooo…you know how I am. How are you? Oh, I’m Emerson. Uhhhh…hi, I guess.” They said, holding a hand out.

I opened my schedule and looked down. “I have only basic chemystry, you’re smarter than me there, Vixen.” Lav didn’t know if nicknaming her a vixen would offend her because besides the fact it only means a female fox it’s usually an insult, although not one that offends too much, Lav felt as if he blew it there, but he just kept talking knowing if he tried to talk about it or explain why he decided to nickname her this would be like digging his grave “Then I have basic dark magic, and then Physical education and Theatre. You must be a great cook considering you picked culinary.”

What? Hanako blinked. Apparently vixen was her nickname now. It honestly made sense to her. She was a fox after all. Lav got straight to the point with that, that’s for sure. “Oh, thanks. I can help you if you need.” She laughed when he said she must be a good cook. “I’m not the best, but I haven’t killed anyone…yet.” She said ominously, grinning, eyes flashing in the darkness like lanterns. She couldn’t resist having a little fun. She saw nothing wrong with it as long as no one got seriously hurt.

I chuckled. I really hoped she joked just now because me laughing to that would make her feel unhappy if she was serious. “I’m pretty bad at cooking myself, but then again, with eternal flames wherever you went, how could you not burn everything you make?” I joked back, again, hoping she joked first otherwise I might seem like a jerk. As a second passed after we were both silent I decided to mention her eyes becuase I noticed a sligh flash in them. “Your eyes lit up like stars just now … They looked so beautiful, as if they belong in the night sky with the rest of the burning stars.” I was worried for a second, becuase for a split part of it, her eyes looked like they were burning themselves, but as I realized it didn’t hurt Hanako at all, I noticed it’s beauty and just had to comment on it … Damn me and my loud mouth, why can’t I keep a thought to myself when it comes to this girl? Something about her … is this her being sly? Or just me … liking her more and more as I get to know her? I don’t know yet, but I’m afraid to find out it’s the first option because I do genuinley believe I like her … But would she ever consider liking me? I sighed for my thoughts troubled me, but hey … at least it was a thought about her I haven’t shared with her, that’s an achievement considering I failed to do so until now.

“Yes, yes. Please question anything and everything you want. And, I’m sure that’s very insightful advice. I don’t know how I’d apply it. I don’t, like, interact a lot with other people… like at all,” Jara snickered.
He couldn’t help think how kind this girl was, allowing him to ask questions without the guilt of over-stepping. This was rather a pleasant conversation, Bertram was impresssed that he had been lucky enough to speak to two lovely individuals so far at this school. “Yes, it is, she was a very insightful women, in my opinion.” His shoulders sank and his hand dropped from his chin as he thought about her. “Why do you not interact with many people often?”
“Why do you smile?”
Bertram was not quite sure want to think of this question, but it did thinking and no longer about his mother. Yet, the humble curve of his mouth remained. “Why? I was not aware it was so strange. Smiling is a sign of kindness and friendship, is it now? It is also a beautiful world that we live in, if we do not appreiciate all the good, even if small, then all of the bad will get us down.”

“I have a culinary class later today, so I could ask them about it,” Jara purposed.
“You do, do you? As do I. Perhaps we could find out together unless it is something you wish to do yourself?”

“N-no! It’s not bad. It’sjustbeenawhilesinceI’vebeencomplimented. So, it’s not your fault,” Jara explained.
Blinking slowly a number of times, Bertram was processing what Jara had said by adding spaces between her words in his head. “I find it hard to believe, though if this is the case then I will do my best to compliment you a lot more.”

Jara blinked. “I’m not entirely sure… note-taking is more about the knowledge. So, I suppose I never process the date and time when I’m working on them.”
“I can understand what you mean. I take notes myself when tending to my garden or learning about new flora or fuana,” Bertram recounted. Except that when he said he took notes, they weren’t written ones, only drawn ones, and any books he admitted to have read were actually read to him by his mother. “Perhaps, though, I may heed your advice and take notes during classes this year to help with learning all the information. My notes would never look as tidy as yours though.” The main reason being because Bertram couldn’t write.

@Cadborosa - Jara - MWAHAHA! Under three weeks this time. I’m getting better. (wink)

“Yeah, I do,” Cara said, smiling unhappily. “I was heading there but…something, well, someone happened.”
Panic filled Peckerhead and her reply was frantic through her snivelling voice, “Something else? Are you okay? Did you hurt yourself or did you meet one of those nasty boys that I was talking about yesterday?”
Orwell, the teacher, entered the class and they seemed to be more interested in the students than teaching them. Peckerhead was staring at the teacher so hard, that she hadn’t been paying attention to Cara taking two headbands from her bag until she spoke. "I-I got you these. I thought they’d look really nice on you! And I’m soooo sorry about this morning.”
“B-Both for m- me? Not for us both?” Peckerhead sniffed. “Why? Why for me?.. Uh…” Her voiced lowered apprehensively, “What are they? What do you do with headbands?”
