Emerson stared back at the girl, a silence falling over them. Well, that happened. She said she was good, glancing at Emerson’s hand, which she dropped into her lap. “Nice to meet you, Mychyst.” They muttered awkwardly. Welp. This. Was. So. Awkward. Help.

Sweet smelling, flowered vines gently wrapped themselves around Leo’s arms as soon as Bry said she had an idea. His clothe didn’t smell like smoke but a part of it was still slightly burned, though it was not noticeable nothing dirty passed through Colden’s eyes.
"Sorry! Yes, it is more fun to be pushed, honestly.” Theorous smiled, “Right!”
After some time, they went to their classes.
“Are you trying to flirt or to start a fight… Bestie? ” Kristi internally cringed at the ‘bestie’ part but did not show it, she wouldn’t give dart frog the satisfaction of that. “Maybe get laid?” She joked but her tone sounded serious and flirty in a means to intimidate or make her blush. “What do you say dart frog?” Kristi move a strand of dart frog’s hair from her face, rubbed her thumb on her lips while smirking.
“Only want right?” Quill batted her eyelashes, “Stop that nwa, you look like a frog.” Maybe calling her dart frog was actually a good idea.
Bryony gave a proud smile at the vines, quite proud of what she’d done. “Hopefully that works. Why don’t you just get fire resistant clothes? They probably have a fire resistant uniform here.” She said hopefully. “Ok, I need to get to class now. See you later!” She chirped, skipping off.

“What about you?”*
Joelene covered her mouth, gagging. She could not imagine how terrible that must be, not only for his body but their health as well. Joelene let a sigh of relief that he at least ate some fruit. Though, she could not help but wonder how entertaining it would be if Kaden accidentally ate a few ghost peppers. “You disgust me in too many ways,” Joelene snipped, “As for my diet, it changes a lot. So, I’ll list off items I usually strive to eat regularly. These items would be yogurt, nuts, bananas… oh! Have you perhaps partaken in marinated chicken?”
“Not much, really. Before meeting you, I was just thinking about how my day’s been going. I met this really cool girl in first period, so I’m making lots of friends today. So…I think good things are going on in my brain?”
Joelene slowly crossed her legs and laid her hands on top of them. She could have misjudged this boy. Or she was right, and they are thinking of building a harem. Joelene would like to stray away from those types. Unfortunately, they would never truthfully answer if she asked upright. So, she started to think of leading questions. A simple yet somehow judgemental “Hm,” was all that escaped her lips.
“A smile is never out of style…”
He was a fool. Sadly which type of fool remained to be decided by Joelene. “Oh really? I would have bet you thought you came from the stork with how stupid you act. I would also have guessed that you thought Santa Clause was real. What shall you do? Oh, you are just so helpless, are you not?” Joelene snickered. She swiftly pulled out a neat black bow from her bag. However, she did not want to get any closer than she had to be to him. So, she decided to gracefully extend her hand, with the bow, out to him instead. If he took the bow and touched her hand, it would help add to her idea of him being a sleaze bag. “Also, that is incredibly false. Smiles are often out of style for many situations. For example, a funeral.”
@ethereal ~ Kaden Not my best work. However, it’ll do fine (hopefully) 6/10 shoulda accused them of adultery
“Quiet down. You misundersttod. I didn’t say I don’t know what a friends is, I said I wouldn’t know what it was like to have one. It would be like a virgin not knowing what love-making is versus not knowing how it feels to make love … You don’t assume somebody doesn’t know what love making is if they say they don’t know what it feel like.” I sighed as he continued talking about a phrase I misunderstood. “Oh … well I never relied on anybody, except my mother when I was too young to do things for myself such as when I was a baby or a calf if you will, she carried me because I was unable to walk, and she gave me food when I was unable to hunt for myself, but then again I could’ve done it for myself pretty early on since I am a herbivore. But the best thing she ever did for me was pretend I didn’t do anything when I got so angry I destroyed our shelter for the night … it was one punch but it did a lot of damage and instead of scolding me like a mother would, she patted me on the back and said we’ll find a better shelter somewhere else anyways and since then I wasn’t scared of showing emotions to her as if she was just another human. But now there’s no human I can unleash anger on … Nobody I can trust. But your siblings sound nice … I bet you trust them, don’t you?”
“Miso soup sounds nice … I don’t know what it is though… And you don’t need to make so many different foods considering I was just gonna offer Kulebyaka and Sarma and for desert maybe Zefir? But that’s it.” I smiled as I remebered how we could make this more fun. “Oh my god, we could make it together that way you could learn how to make slavic food and I could learn how to make asian food.”
“You would be surprised by how many people don’t know what love making is, due to isolation and other times being a child. So maybe I would assume, maybe I wouldn’t. Depends on their characterization” Colden said, “Oh … well I never relied on anybody, except my mother when I was too young to do things for myself such as when I was a baby or a calf if you will, she carried me because I was unable to walk, and she gave me food when I was unable to hunt for myself, but then again I could’ve done it for myself pretty early on since I am a herbivore. But now there’s no human I can unleash anger on …" Colden coughed, “You can rely… on me” he managed to utter. He could Rely on Colden just for some seconds and tell him more about himself , not the other part. Colden wasn’t good with people when they were sad. "But your siblings sound nice … I bet you trust them, don’t you?” Colden touched his jaw, “With what? you need to be more specific. Do I trust them to fight besides me and have my back? I do, do I trust them not to cause trouble? I don’t. Well, I don’t trust only 2 of them to stay out of trouble, the other I do.”

Moon was snickering until Star had turned and whispered something to her. Moon rolled her eyes and sighed, “My ‘sister’ says perhaps it’s time we tell you the truth.” Or a version of it at least… Moon thought for a few minutes. “I suppose I should start with one thing, I don’t have any siblings. My ‘sister’ over there is a duplicate, and so was Peaches.” To illustrate her point, Moon duplicated herself two more times, the two duplicates waved and introduced themselves.
“I’m Comet.” the first one said uninterested.
“And I’m Celestia!” the second duplicate said a little more vibrantly.
Moon then shapeshifted Comet into a duplicate of Saga except with a cat tail as a little demonstration and surprise for her. “As for the monkey thing, I can shapeshift my duplicates into just about anything.” She called the monkey to her and shapeshifted it back into yet another duplicate of herself. “Hello, My name is Solaria!”
Star giggled and shook her head, “Forgive the heavenly names, these are all just names our father had thought up for Moon, before he settled on that one.” Star paused for a moment, “So…any questions?”

”Yes! I can’t believe you know it! Where did you learn ASL?”
Liu leaned back in her seat for a moment, adjusting her posture and placing both hands on the table in front of her while trying to come up with the answer. Would she rather mention the torture of a boarding school she went to and scare off any new chance of having friends, or come up with something? She quickly wiped off any form of sadness from her face and smiled brightly at the girl.
“I learned many languages and knowledge from a young age,” She signed, which was partly true; only, the source of her mastering every language known to man was part of her past she didn’t want to share to a soul. She smiled and listened carefully as the girl welcomed her to her new school. These tips were very nice, considering Liu wasn’t the richest out of the bunch. Anything she could learn from would help her journey.
“Tal is really cool and easygoing.”
She raised a brow at the mention of the teacher.
“You go by first names?” She signed, shocked at the thought.
“This school has so many great experiences and fun things to do. I would definitely try to get involved with clubs or events…”
She grinned at that. Right up Liu Rushi’s alley. She loved piling clubs, extra credit, advanced classes, and pretty much anything she could onto her very busy life.
“Okay, okay. Are you in any clubs?” She signed politely. “I saw a few fliers in the hall, they all seem interesting!”

I just don’t care what its effects are, because at the end of the day. I am a h*ll of a lot more pretty than you, better than you, and more confident than you. And yes, I may act like a “dumb blonde” but I am certainly smarter than you and no spell you cast can ever change that. So before you go about declaring a one-woman war on someone, I suggest you do your research thoroughly and maybe rally an army. Perhaps then you’ll actually stand a chance.

“…Maybe… he could be the best dad to me too.” Ariadne second, thinking maybe she knew what was that. Does Bay have daddy issues? She wondered. “It would be an honor to me if you were to meet him one day.” Ari says sincerely, to her friend.
"Eee, that’s so cool! I love dressing up! I wish I knew how to drive though, I’m sure I would love to do that too! Wait can you drive?" Bay asked. Ariadne’s face turned slightly pink. “More or less. I’ve had my fair share of failed driving test.” She looked at her feet, as if for reassurance. “I do have my license, but I usually stay off the road… Mostly because I’m scared I’ll hit something… Or maybe…” Ari cringed "someone."She shrugging her shoulders stiffly. “But luckily I’ve never hit anything, other than the driving instructing cones” She relaxed her shoulders a bit. “Elliott says it was quite funny watching me drive for the first time.” Ari smiled. “He said I jerked the car a lot.” Ariadne shook her head, “dear, sorry to bother you with my boring driving story though.”

“Have you ever asked him?” Ariadne turn your head to look at the wall for a moment. “Actually, I don’t think I have?” She said confused, looking back to Bay. “I have little to no clue, how in the world I didn’t ask. Though, Elliot might know.”
“Of course.” Bay said proudly, which made Ari smile. “I wish I had a tail!” Bay nodded again, “You can!!” Bay said, causing Ari to turn her head to one side to think about it. “Just whatever you do, DO NOT allow an evil see which take your legs and voice just for a tail. That does NOT end well.” Ariadne smiled warmly at Bay’s concerns. She nodded, assuring Bay she wouldn’t. “I bet we can find a way to get you tail for free. Or for like, twenty gold coins, or something.” Ariadne nodded slowly while adding, “when I find out how to get one you’ll be the first to know!” “YES-my hair looks sooo much prettier underwater.” Ariadne looked at the girls almost coral color hair. “Yeah, pretty much! I don’t really know how that works-magic I guess. Pretty crazy, right? Gills are kinda weird.” Ariadne shrugged, “If you mean weird in a cool way.” She said with a smile.
“Wow, really? I guess I am! I really like that-I think being not-diamond child is really cool though.” Ariadne smiled ear to ear. “*I bet your Dad admires you. And is really proud.” Ariadne’s ears became pink, then it lightly spread to her cheeks. Ari pulled herself together, “Even if I like following in his foot steps, sometimes it’s better to make your own tracks. Anyways, following someone else to closely can sometimes suppress yourself, or make it harder to find yourself… Like, the real you.” Ariadne said, referencing her life more than she even knew she was doing.
Ari stood, her arms open wide, without waver. Before she even had time to come up with something, a smiley Bay jumped in her arms, legs no longer holding herself. Ariadne laughed as she took a step back to stabilize them both. Bay is sooooooooOoOoo cute! Ari though, trying not to tear up from this overload of cuteness. She wrapped her arms around Bay to ensure she wouldn’t fall. “I might start to think your a spider monkey instead of a mermaid with your coordination!” Ari joked, hoping she wouldn’t offend Bay. She looked down at her as best she could, just to make sure she was alright.[/color]

There was a change in Amelia’s face and Vic was confused by this. As they didn’t understand emotions and how they were portrayed upon a face. So Vic queried it, “What is the matter? More of your facial muscles are being used. Is there a problem?”
"You would be awesome in a staring contest,” Amelia stated, chuckling. “I can barely keep mine open for more than a few seconds. Then they get itchy and all, you know?”
“Staring contest,” Vic repeated as their processor acknowledged and organised the following words from the girl to make sense. Registering the human function that they had not be doing, Vic blinked once. “I forget-” Their speech faltered as their processor noted that it didn’t sound very human-like. “Yes. I have a habit of staring. Must stop. Must blink.”
“Uh… no.” Amelia paused a moment. “I meant strange. But not in the mean way, like a light-hearted way of saying strange.”
As soon as Amelia said that she meant to call them strange, a series of clicks were heard from inside Vic. Their machine and gears that were to create those imitations of human emotion, which were still being learnt by Vic, started to create panick. In doing so, they created loud-ish clicks. “Strange. I’m not, I’m as human as you. If I am strange, that makes you strange too since all of us are different, which makes all of us strange.” Vic reached the classroom and opened the door. “Kingdom History and Managment.”
“Something like that. I’m not mad about getting married, more that she expects me to just ‘fall in love’, and that the marriage would be worthless if I didn’t. Basically, she knows I will never love someone romantically, and she makes sure that I know her grievances over the ‘situation’ every time she looks at me.” Amelia used little finger quotes to emphasise certain words.
“Never love someone romantically,” Vic echoed back with a sharp nod. “Not knowing how to fathom the complex sentiment of love either.”
“Ah… I mean, you probably did have a mother… Wait no sorry uh what about your dad? Is he nice?”
The code within them worked quickly to inform that everyone who is human, who is living, had a mother. Meaning that Vic ought to have one too. “Yes. Everyone has one. Just like you, I had one a very long time ago. Vic did not know her though, hence you must be lucky to know yours.”
@Acorn06 - Amelia Bjorgman - Sorry again for the long-as wait.
When the guy first looked at per when per addressed him, Hūnga noticed he was a bit taken aback and tried for a friendly smile to look less intimidating. The guy replied jokingly, “Uh, it’s free so I guess you can sit. Just don’t burn the chair down.”
“Chur.” Hūnga chortled and sat, relaxing into the chair next to the guy. “Yeah Nah, I’ll try not, eh, but it’s kinda difficult with my make-up, yeah. What’d ya think, costume a bit too much?” Hūnga had a relaxed tone, joking along with the guy.
“What’s your name?”, the guy asked, looking through his book. “I’m guessing is something like fire overload in another language? Does it start with a N or a H?”
Per gave him a generous nod as if to say the guy was alright. “Yeah, something like that. Name’s Hūnga.” Though per pronounced it Whoonga. “What about yous, bro, what’s ya name? Yous a psychic or something?”
@Kristi - Nicolae Yemoja - Sorry for the late reply. Though I also don’t mind what pronoun you use for per since he doesn’t know per. Like use whatever you think your character thinks they are (her/him/they/per). But please don’t use a mix of each. (wink)
“You can rely on me” said he. “No!” I quickly returned a negative answer. “I can not rely on somebody just like that. If saying you can rely on me can make me so easily trust a person and make me believe I can really rely on them I would because I trusted before only to be always tricked, so no I won’t do it again so easily. Truly, I barely know you. And the fact that you’re a human but cacious with what you say to me says you’re likely not to be trusted and therefore I would easier trust any other human than you.” I said and listened as he talked about his siblings. “That’s not what I meant. Do you trust them enough to tell them secrets knowing they won’t spread them, to do something wrong and not have them tell on you, to have each other’s backs whenever needed.”

The girl nodded slowly-she was probably still processing everything. Valid. “I’m okay.” She had a very soft and pretty voice-if it were a color, perhaps it would be buttermilk yellow or the color of orange yogurt. There was passion in her tone as she explained the plot of the book to Sonny, who only smiled, listening eagerly and planning to remember what the girl said as well. The book was definitely appealing-maybe Sonny would see if they had it in the library so they could talk about it with her. “That sounds really fascinating.” Sonny said genuinely. “Maybe I should read it sometime, so we can talk about it.”“My name is Autumn, Autumn Evergreen. I don’t know who I am yet and my pronouns are she/her.” The autumn-like girl was named Autumn… what a strange coincidence. Sonny felt almost like a psychic. The way they laughed was even pretty. She greeted Sonny the same way they’d greeted her, which was very appreciated. “I hope this doesn’t sound weird or anything…but that name fits you so well.” Sonny mused, smiling at Autumn. “So what brings you out here on a beautiful day? Well, I guess the day itself could bring one outside to enjoy it. Not that there has to be a reason. Um, I, I’ll just stop talking now.” Autumn blushed adorably, looking flustered. Sonny gave them an assuring smile- “Please don’t worry-I’m a good listener. My stomach hurt a bit, but I feel a lot better outside. It’s such a beautiful day. And the colors are striking.” They gave her another charming smile- “I’m glad I came out here.”

Sonny talked about maybe reading that book just so they could talk about it. “I would like that, I would really like that.” Autumn said softly as she brushed another strand of hair from her face with a faint smile. Autumn’s face flushed red again at Sonny’s comment about her name, she wasn’t really use to all these compliments and friendliness from anyone else except from her cousin/‘sister’ Bryony and sometimes Theorous. “Oh, um, thanks. My dad gave it to me.” Of course your parents give you your name that was so stupid and a bit embarrassing. Autumn listened to Sonny and changed her expression when she heard that Sonny was feeling a bit under the weather. “Oh, I’m so sorry to hear that. I might have a few drinks I can make that could help you feel better. I can make pumpkin spice lattes as well as apple cinnamon lattes, and of course I can also make hot chocolate. I like to put the whipped cream on the bottom so that the temperature is drinkable as soon as I get it. And sometimes I like to put just a dash of cinnamon in the hot chocolate.” Autumn then stopped as if she had remembered something. “Oh, but I don’t know if you have any allergies or if you even like any of those things.” Autumn said worried, she wanted them to feel better but clearly wasn’t considerate enough. “Um, I, um.” Autumn snuggled in her sweater and backed up, she kept doing so until she bumped into the tree which she caught herself using her hands. Like clockwork when she was distressed, a bunch of Granny Smith apples fell on top of her. Autumn, now under the pile of apples, completely retreated into her sweater and waited to hear the laughter of the girl who could’ve perhaps been the only friend she makes this year.

She, again, did not hide her repulse, clamping her hand over her mouth and making an awful retching noise. Kaden looked scared. “Are you going to be sick? Do you need me to escort you to the nurse’s office?” He asked, quickly, looking as if he were about to stand up. His brows were raised, a small crease between them, sky-blue eyes wide with concern for Joelene’s health. She let out a relieved sigh-false alarm? Was she feeling better? Kaden was unsure what to do. “You disgust me in too many ways.” Kaden’s heart sank at her spiteful words, his head sinking as well-with shame. At least she answered his question. He felt his heart rise a teeny bit when she named a lot of the foods he liked-yogurt, nuts, bananas, and chicken. Kaden wasn’t one for very spicy foods-he had more delicate tastebuds. He could be meticulous about meals, but also quite open. “…I like all of those, too. Especially marinated chicken. One of my neighbors made the best version-they brought it to every potluck.” He spoke hesitantly at first, but sounded more bubbly when he picked up the pace.
Joelene shifted in her seat, which Kaden didn’t pay much attention to. All she said was “Hm.” The kind of Hm Kaden’s mom made when he didn’t lick his bowl clean, or when she didn’t believe he hadn’t been talking to a friend he didn’t know about. It put Kaden off a bit, though it didn’t make him dislike Joelene. “Oh really? I would have bet you thought you came from the stork with how stupid you act.” Jolene snipped. Kaden turned a bright red, embarrassed they were lingering on this topic. His eyes flew away from Joelene, searching for a girl she might be able to talk about this with instead. Joelene held out a black bow to him-Kaden looked flustered and confused. “Oh is that for me?” Despite his bewilderment, he was still sparkling with excitement at the prospect of receiving a present. He’d never worn a hairbow before. “You’re right.” He sounded somber there. “But a smile is not “out of style” during a funeral, it is just not appropriate. Those are different-at least I think so.” He smiled earnestly at Joelene, trying not to appear disagreeable.

“Maybe get laid?” Kristi offered. Quill rolled her eyes, focusing on her mom and Lylios, mostly to contain any blush that would stand out like a blue bowl among a cupboard of red mug’s. Quill quietly steadied her breat- “What do you say dart frog?” And there it went. Her ivory skin lit up as if someone was painting -or rather smearing- red paint inside of her face. Aquila shivered at her blush, but before she could look away Kristi had tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, and rubbed her thumb on her lips and smirked.
At this point, Quill didn’t why she had even blushed… Or if the blush was still lingering on her face. She didn’t know if it was because she was embarrassed, or angry maybe or- *No it couldn’t be… I don’t… No. I don’t like Kristi or anything…OH GODS! I PRAY THIS ISN’T WHAT I THINK IT IS!
