Instead of leaving, making fun of her, or do anything else Autumn could imagine, Sonny jokingly walked up to her and pretended to knock on an invisible door, Sonny then told her that her heritage and abilities were awesome, she also mentioned that she’d talk about her mom. Autumn poked her head out, “You really think so? Most of the other kids would laugh at me, as I could only mature existing plants as an ability.” Autumn shook her head and brushed her hair out of her face to behind her ear, “Enough about me, I wanna hear about you!” She said with a genuine sense of enthusiasm as she carefully moved to the next tree and gently used her abilities to grow the fruit back.
She giggled, “Not again!” She joked in return, eyeing Hilda’s smirk and wondering if they’d really ever seduced anyone. Not in a weird way! She was just curious, it didn’t matter either way to her. “Hey, it’s fine! Don’t worry about it.” Hilda reassured her. Eun smiled weakly, and gave a nod. “Okay,” she said, trying her hardest not to. “So, where’s the market? How’d you know about it? I didn’t.” Hilda asked as they walked along the path, shaded by trees filled with butterflies of every color. “Oh, let’s just say I asked a looot of questions while we were apart,” Eun said, waving her hand and stretching the lot. “Plus, I checked out some of our classmates on Instagrimm. A lot of them visit the town all the time. It looks super cool. It should just be a few more minutes 'til we reach the enterance.”
Hilda looked up into the trees after seeing flashes of color, their eyes nearly popping out of their head when they saw the butterflies. “Woah…” was all they could muster, mouth agape. Eun explained how she learned about the market, and Hilda nodded. “Can’t wait!” Luckily, they closed their mouth this time. @ethereal - Eun
For Matt’s first day of classes, he kept to himself. Interacting with someone during class wasn’t the easiest for him since he had to watch his teachers carefully to know what was going on in class. However, he had still kept an eye out for someone in particular, someone who he was yet to have a class with. Though, by the time lunch came around he saw her, and even though she turned away, he ducked past a few people to make his way towards her. He tapped her shoulder lightly, smiling as he held her notebook out for her. A notebook which had a note stuck to the front of it that said, “I thought you might still want this. wanted to make sure you got it back.” with a smiley face to go along with his own smile.

He chuckled, “No, it’s not underwater, my dad isn’t a merfolk,” He explained. Camilla facepalmed, feeling silly even though there was no way she could’ve known. But, she quickly regained her pep because she had a lot of questions. “Oh, really? So do you live with your dad? Do you ever see your mom? Do you like land or the ocean more?” Then, remembering what she said a few seconds ago, she smacked herself harder, “Land castles are so cool! I’d rather go there!! You can eat cake on land, but not underwater.” She babbled earnestly, looking a little frazzled. He nuzzled his head into her lap, and she slowly lifted her hand to stoke his hair lightly, still looking at him with wet, scared eyes.“Only a little, kitty.” He said softly. She didn’t look relieved, heart beating faster. “Where does it hurt?” She tried to flash a secretive smile, “Should I kiss it better?”
“Dazzling.” He took another bite. Oh, it’s on. “Exquisite.” She chomped into her slice. He sighed really loudly, and Camilla waved her hands in the air, “You don’t have to-” “No, you’re right, who’s Eundr. She’s a girl and my c-” An ear-piercing scream rang through the castleteria, and both Alec and Camilla whipped around just to see someone getting tickled. She giggled, though her expression looked slightly confused. He turned back to her, not finishing the word. So Camilla tried to do that herself. C-c-CRUSH?! or COUSIN?! She blinked imploringly at Alec, silently begging him to finish the sentence. Finally, she asked, “Your what?” Smiling, but a bit nervous at the same time. If she was his crush…that meant he didn’t like Camilla, despite his actions.
“Don’t worry, it’s okay,” Alec said, lifting Camilla’s chin so she was looking into his eyes. She felt a bit bad, but mostly hyper if she was being honest. “If you say so!” She agreed cheerily. He exhaled as she brought out her secret weapon, “I agree, it is hard to resist, makes me want to eat you up.” He bopped her on the nose, making her go momentarily cross-eyes, jerking back in surprise. “I told you so,” She said, smiling casually as she leaned back to where she was before.
She gasped, clamping her hand over her mouth. “I LOVE Fall Out Boy and Portugal. The Man!!!” She squealed, she’d listened to those songs so many times, she could probably sing them in her sleep. Backwards. “I like a lot of artists!! They’re all so good!” Camilla really liked all sorts of music and artists, however, she preferred happy, upbeat, party music over everything. Nothing sad. “What would you do tomorrow if it were your last day on Earth?” Sheesh. That was a deep one, but Camilla answered it without hesitation. “I’d make myself sick on sweets…and spend it with my family.” She said immediately. “I try to live every day of my life like it is my last day on Earth. So it might be a bit similar to every day.” She giggled. “What about you?” She wiggled closer, tossing the question back at him. “What would you do tomorrow if it were your last day on Earth?”
Autum’s head reappeared, and Sonny grinned at them, showing perfect white teeth. “Of course I think so, who wouldn’t?” Sonny exclaimed, reassuring her. “Trust me, they’re just jealous. How many of those stupid kids had any abilities at all?” Sonny asked, trying to make a point, shaking their head remorsefully at how cruel kids could be to someone with so much kindness and love in her heart. She brushed her hair behind her ear-Sonny loved when she did that. “Enough about me, I wanna hear about you!” Her enthusiasm was genuine, making her look even more beautiful. Sonny loved to see her lips this, smile wide, eyes shimmering. They trailed after her to the next tree, finding it hard to speak with how awed they were about her abilities.
“No such thing,” Sonny replied, when Autumn said there’d been enough about herself. “Well, I don’t normally talk about my parents, much, but I want to tell you about mine, too.” They were far from being insecure about their mother, they just didn’t mention their heiritage, so they didn’t seem stuck-up about it-their mother was a goddess, and they wanted to be as humble about it as possible. “So, my dad’s just an average joe. I’ve never really spent much time with him. But my mother, she’s the Greek goddess Iris.” Sonny revealed, watching another orange sprout from a tree branch. “She’s the goddess of rainbows, hence the dorm and obsession with colors,” They laughed lightly, cheeks tinted pink as they rubbed the back of their neck, having ditched the fruits a while ago. “As for abilities, it’s not much, but… I can do this.” They plucked a lemon off of the ground, slightly bruised at the top. “What’s your favorite color? That isn’t yellow.” They asked, as if preparing to preform a magic trick.

“Woah…” Hilda’s dark brown eyes were aimed upwards, so Eun did the same, taking in the multicolored flurry of butterflies above them. They landed, rested for several seconds, and fluttered to a new spot. The sweet smell of nectar filled the air between them. “Woah…” Eun said the same thing in agreement, they were breathtaking. And this path, shielded by the canopy of green and rainbow seemed to stretch on forever. “I love butterflies,” Eun smiled softly at Hilda, chin still tilted towards the trees. “Me either… I’m really excited. And nervous.”

And the people on land and sea were really attractive, though merfolks were more attractive than humans. “Land castles are so cool! I’d rather go there!! . “Exquisite.” Alec gave her a flirtarious smirk, “lavishing” He said taking another bite of the pizza he was holding. “Your what?” Alec blinked, “Huh? OH! You meants Eundr?” Alec smiled, “She’s close to me you can say” Well close in terms of blood being his 1st cousin. Alec drank his drink, “We knew each other since I was little.” He smiled at Camilla not knowing what he was unintentionally doing.
“If you say so!” He smiled, he wanted her trust and for her to like him. And he was loaded and a prince so he could practically buy her 5 lands if she requested. He did feel bad that would soon break her heart, but Alec could tell that something will be different- he didn’t know what, but it would be different. “I told you so,” He chuckled at her adorableness, Alec leaned in and kissed her forehead, “You’re so cute” he said

Before Theo could leave the Castleteria to eat alone in her dorm-or any place Matt would never find her-she felt a gentle tap on her shoulder. She winced, eyes closing as if in pain, before trying to fake a smile as she twirled around to face Matt. She looked really, really nervous. And her stupid, stupid cheeks were already changing colors at the sight of him. She hadn’t forgotten what he looked like, of course, but she studied his face for a moment, shaggy golden hair, deep black eyes. He was smiling at her, too. Why was he smiling? Had his memory been erased? Was yesterday a daydream? He held out her notebook, a single sticky note stuck on the front. "I thought you might still want this. wanted to make sure you got it back. She looked genuinely ecstatic now, hugging the book-and note to her chest, closing her eyes. She was so relieved, half of the nervousness seemed to vanish. A pen was still trapped inside the spiral part, so she pushed it out with her pointer finger, rereading the note before opening to a fresh page. “THANK YOU!!! I can’t thank you enough, really. It’s been torture without this.” She passed the grateful message to him, trying not to stare too long…

“Oh my gosh! I was doing the same thing during first period! We really are twins, huh? She looks so funny. And he’s really pretty but not as pretty as Cam.” Pearl didn’t like the fact she was being compared to her, she was way better than her. And she wasn’t as annoying as her, of course Pearl didn’t say that. Instead she gave a friendly smile “I guess we really are twins” kill her now. Pearl remembered her saying something about a ‘cam’ “Cam? Whose cam” she asked curious. The girl began to point at random people and Pearl internally cringe, the people turned back at gave them dirty looks… pearl looked away and ate her food. “I’m making so many friends today,” It was a shock someone could bear to be with the girl for more than 5 seconds or where they just pretended like her?
“Oh, wait, what’s your name? I’m Bay" what a weird name, Pearl gave little cute laughs “Pearl”
He laughed. Alec had a really nice laugh. “We live together, all of us. So yeah I do see her, and I don’t have a preference for either. She had barely spent any time in the ocean, but she still adored it, the cute swimsuits, icy snacks, bright blue waves, each bringing shiny shells and carrying iridescent fish. “What’s the best thing about each, then?” She tilted her head, letting black hair slip over one shoulder. “Do you have any long black tights?” She laughed at how random the question seemed, fingers still buried in his hair. “Actually, yeah! For when it gets colder, I can wear them under my uniform skirt.” She informed him. His fingers motioned to a spot on his head. “Sure.” She leaned down, kissing him lightly on the spot with an audible mwah!
She matched his smirk, doing better this time. “Magnifiques!” She shot back, speaking in French, then peeling of a pepperoni and popping the entire thing in her mouth. ”Oh, you meant Eundr?” Alec asked. Camilla nodded, of course she meant Eundr!! What else? ”She’s close to me, you can say. We knew each other since we were little.” Camilla listened with pleasing eyes, thinking this over. Didn’t Jason also have a childhood friend? Gaia? And Gaia ended up having a HUGE crush on him. Maybe this situation was the same, and Eundr had a big crush on Alec too. Maybe Alec even liked her back! Alec just smiled cheerily, which made no sense to Camilla, who asked, “Did you guys share pizza together, too?” A slight hint of sourness in her tone.
Alec was more amazing than any person Camilla could’ve thought of. He was handsome, kind, loved the same things she did… if she wrote a list, it would be endless. She trusted him completely by now, smiling back at him, as beautifully as she could. He kissed her forehead again. The butterflies made their reappearance, wings flapping against her stomach, aggressive as ever. ”You’re so cute.” She flashed him a cheeky grin. “You’re cuter.”
He simply patted her head. Camilla didn’t quite know what that meant, if he liked her answer or he agreed with it, but she did know she liked the way it felt. ” I will spend it with you in my room.” His lips were on her neck the next second and she let out a shaky breath, heart beating loud and fast. She knew it was silly to be surprised at this by now, but every time he said something like that… “Sounds like a happy ending,” She murmured, closing her eyes.

She sounded really curious about Cam, which made Bay super hyper. She loved talking about Cam, he was probably her favorite topic, (possibly) besides different types of fruit. “Cam’s my boyfriend!!! We met a year ago and have been boyfriend and girlfriend for almost a year too!! He has dark brown hair, and dark brown eyes, and he’s incredibly handsome, more handsome than any other guy in the world! You’d definitely agree.” Bay gushed over Cam, making goo-goo eyes at nothing in particular as she swooned. She hoped her new friend would share her adoration. The people she pointed at glared knives at Bay, who hunched her shoulders and pouted. “Guess not everyone is as friendly as you,” She muttered loudly to her table-mate, then chewed on another nugget. She felt a bit discouraged about that, but seemed to cheer up when she heard Pearl’s cute laugh. "Oh, I love Pearls! They’re so beautiful. I think I got a pearl necklace for my birthday once, maybe I should call you ‘Necklace’ instead of ‘Pearl’, " Bay cracked a bad joke, and then remembered her question. She let out an excited yelp, “So, Pearl, I have a question for you. It’s really important.”

“What’s the best thing about each, then?” Alec thought about it, “I guess for the ocean, the restaurant called ‘Afarndo’ the exterior and interior of it is really beautiful, and it has a gaming and resting section. And for land, the sunset.” Alec sighed dreamily thinking about both the land and the ocean. “Actually, yeah! For when it gets colder, I can wear them under my uniform skirt.” She answered. He smiled when she kissed the spot on his head.
Camilla smirked, “Magnifiques!” Alec gave her an amused look “Bellissima” He shot back in italian, taking one big bite of his pizza. “Did you guys share pizza together, too?” There was sourness in her voice and Alec looked at her, “Is there something wrong?” He asked with concerns. “And no we didn’t share pizza, but we did share a cake together.” It was one of his relatives birthday party, And Eundr and him were fighting over the last remaining cake and so Eundr’s father split it into two. He chuckled remembering it.
“You’re cuter.” Alec leaned in close to her, their lips almost touching “No, you’re cuter.” He said a hand on her knees. “Trust me, you’re cuter” Their lips collided with each other and Alec sucked on her lower lip. He licked her lips to ask for entrance.
"Sounds like a happy ending,” Alec smiled, “Everything is a happy ending when i’m around you.” He placed her hand on his knee, “In the future we should get married” He smiled. And here goes Alec making another promise like this, making the same promise he made to a hundreds of people already.

Tatum crammed her face with something that looked like some kind of potato food… She had no idea what it was, but she knew it was delicious. She hadn’t even realized somebody had come out until she heard a slight crunch. She looked up, not in the proper direction at first, and then saw who was seated there. Kiku had just taken a bite of their salad, turning when they heard something next to them. Kiku turned to see the girl they’d sat near wildly waving her hands. This girl was very energetic. Ouch. They thought when the girl swallowed a huge bite of food, practically screaming to invite them over. Oh boy. Here we go…Kiku stood up, grabbing their salad and walking over, sitting next to the girl. Tatum couldn’t help but smile warmly as they approached. As they sat, Tatum attentively observed them. “Hello.” they said, awkward smile and all. “Sure, thank you. I’m Kiku.” They said, Tatum internally exploded with confetti. Tatum grabbed a stray grape from the ground, blew it, then popped it in her mouth.
