Dawn looked around in surprise, feeling the cool air on her skin. She felt invigorated, having to use every ounce of willpower she had to not take off running, mainly because she had no idea where she was going. “I can run fast too. Think I can keep up? Flying is ok.” She honestly just said that because she wanted to see what Samantha could do, and more of her genuine smile. “Oh, watch.” She said, beginning to shrink, before transforming into a sleek, black cat.

Caspian shook their head, rejecting his offer to buy them a pancake. Had he done something wrong? Perhaps it was uncustomary to offer to buy food for someone you’ve just meet… but it can’t be, Syrus had read that this was a sigh of kindness. So Syrus decided that he was simply overthinking it much too negatively and perhaps Caspians was just not hungry. Though he had a negging feeling that that wasn’t the case and that Caspian may not think of him as a friend as he did with them. Turning back to the counter, he was told the price and rifled through his pocket. Pulling out his hand, he held it flat to the waitress-lady to pick through the coins he’d pulled out. He had no idea of currency and what things were worth.
“You guys know each other long?”, Ailbhe queried and Syrus listened as he paid. “Bit new here, still learning the ropes and all that, how about you?”
“…Not really,” Caspian replied meekly. “We’re both new, too.”
“Yes, first day and first classes,” Syrus responded in a montone after being handed his pancake. “We should sit, yes? We sit and eat here. Thank you for telling me about the pancake,” he told Ailbhe before looking around for a couple of empty chairs.

Samantha laughed, this one was also genuine, not a sarcastic tone to be heard. She knelt down and pet the black cat for a moment before stepping back She took a breath and shifted into a bat, but it was no small ordinary bat, Samantha was the size of a person. She laid down so the small feline could climb on her back. She shook her wings and gently twitched her ears, making sure everything was ready for flight.
@Ouijaloveletters ~ Dawn
Samantha laughed again, kneeling down to pet Dawn, who purred, nuzzling her head into her hand. Dawn nearly had a kitty conniption fit when Samantha turned into a huge bat, laying down so Dawn could climb on. She did, trying to hold on as carefully as possible with her claws. This would be…interesting. Hopefully she’d land on her feet if she fell.

Cat on a bat.
Samantha flapped her wings and took off into the cool Transylvanian night sky. The wind whipped through her fur and she giggled but it came out as a bat squeak, that was one of the downsides of her forms, no vocal cords. She flapped her wings to gain some altitude before tucking her wings and nosedived towards the town. Women screamed and grabbed their young children, quickly taking them inside, while some other children waved and laughed calling Samantha’s name. Samantha hurled towards the ground, faster and faster until she finally spread her wings and flapped them a few more times before landing on the main street of the village. She slid the black kitty off her back and changed back to her normal form as young children came running up to Samantha and hugged her while a little girl beckoned Samantha to sit down so she could braid her hair. Samantha smiled and did so. When the girl was done she hugged Samantha and ran off with the other children to play with her friends. “Now, Ana-Maria, you know when your bedtime is. You go straight home to your mother, ok?” The little girl giggled and ran off into the night. Samantha moved her new braid to her shoulder and slowly stood up, she pointed to a small shop on the main street of the village, “There it is, the finest tailor in all of Transylvania.”
@Ouijaloveletters ~ Dawn
Dawn pressed her body against Samantha’s back, bracing herself when she took off. Samantha gained altitude, before going into a nosedive, making Dawn’s eyes nearly pop out of her head. People screamed as Samantha approached, which was to be expected. Samantha landed, sliding Dawn off her back, shifting human. Dawn did the same, surprised to see kids crowding around them. They wer you afraid? Dawn stood, staring down at the kids with an awkward smile. “Hello…” Several kids carefully approached her, and she knelt down, letting them look at her nails and even allowed a girl to braid her hair like Samantha’s. The kids left after a bit, not before hugging Dawn. Samantha pointed to a shop down the street, explaining that was the best tailor in Transylvania.

“No.” Haldir glared at Wei Ming, his majestic ocean like eyes piercing through his soul. “Really?” The vines released them from Wei Ming’s neck and went to tighten his stomach, hoping to get him to puke. The vines began to release fire, “Do you want to be embarrassed? The vines would burn your clothes.” Haldir wouldn’t let that happen but he wouldn’t let Wei Ming know, Haldir wasn’t looking to see any naked person after all. “Foolish.” Haldir commented.
“Maybe" haldir took a sip of his drink, “That’s not an answer.”

Samantha looked over at Dawn who was still smiling, “What?” She asked exasperated, “Ok, fine, yes I can tolerate the little children.” Samantha sighed, "Yes, I don’t hurt, kill, or feed on, little children. They don’t know any better, they’re children. It’s the adults I have a problem with, they should know better but they act like they don’t. Although, if you tell anyone I told you that little known fact, I’ll ensure you never speak another word again, got it? I can’t have you ruining my reputation with anything “goody-goody”. She walked down main street, every shop switched it’s sign to ‘closed’ as she walked past. Despite what just occurred with the children, Samantha liked being feared, she opened the door, “Hello, Anton.”
@Ouijaloveletters ~ Dawn
“Tell no one.” Dawn said, nodding. “I like your hair.” She said, snickering at the terrified faces of the adults behind the windows. She raised a hand, tapping on the window, the woman inside screaming. She turned away, following Samantha into a store, looking around in awe. She walked over to some black dresses, careful not to touch them.

“Así que me llevarás, Alec.” Alec smirked, “eso es muy lejos” (that’s very far), “Podría llevarte al fondo de la princesa del océano, así que elige tus palabras cuidadosamente” (I could take you to the bottom of the ocean princess, so choose your words carefully) He took another 10000000 slice of pizza. Alec ran a hand through his hair, “¿Eres un buen nadador?” (are you a good swimmer)
“Pleeeeeeeease?” Alec turned away from her jokingly, “Hmm maybe if you meowed like a kitty.” He teased turning back to stare at her chocolate brown eyes. “You have nice eyes.” He complimented, “Shakespeare would have love to write about them.” He cupped her jaw, “Maybe I will become Shakespeare right now and tell you how you’re eyes are like the gold people desperately crave, their the sun to someone’s moon.” He flirted.
“Er…I…well…” Alec raised a brow in amusement, “Huh?” He leaned in closer to her, “You thought I was a cheater?” He repeated the question again, this time staring deeply into her eyes. Camilla suddenly jolted “No!! Of course not! I don’t know why I even said that… I guess I was just really confused and…are you mad at me?” Was he mad at her? If anyone had dared accused him of being involved in such a thing, he would be furious- no, raging in anger but Camilla… well she was Camilla, adorable and funny. She resembled a girl from his childhood. But however she did accuse him of doing such a thing. “Maybe” He took a sip from his drink.
“And your decision…?” Alec took another sip from his drink, “What do you think?” He asked. Her worried faced turned into one of a big smile as he told her that she was as light as a feather, “Haha, is that so?” Alec grinned, “Actually no, you’re as heavy as an elephant” He joked.

“Oh um thanks I honestly didnt even realize I was drawing on the table.” Asa said as he blushed hard. He was still kind of embarrassed he did it even. if Shelldon thought they were cool. Asa giggled at his comment about the table being less boring now. "Just some little doodles, like there is a dinosaur and then ther is a cloud and a rainbow and up there is a feather and some flowers. Just whatever my hands drew. " He said a little louder. “Thanks they are not really that good. They are just doodles.” Asa was still blushing like crazy. I soft pink blush that reached the tips of his ears. “Rylan you sure you are ok?” Asa Asked as he moved to the very end of the table so they were sitting beside each other. He didnt want Rylan to feel left out and had a feeling that Rylan might be feeling left out and that’s why he was quiet and a little distant. “Hey um …” Asa trailed off he was trying to come up with something that might Make Rylan even crack a small smile. Something was clearly wrong and Asa hated the upset look on Rylan’s face. “Its fine Im just not good in math so its pretty hard for me and she wasn’t really any help.” He said as he shrugged. “Maybe I can switch but I would have to convince my brother to switch with me. I dont want to be away from him in my morning classes.” Asa commented thinking out loud. Asa quickly lifted his arm as Shelldon protested him getting rid of the doodles. “You sure I should leave them here?” He asked as he shrugged and pulled a note book from his bag. Rylan looked even more upset now that the doodles were smudged. Asa Smiled as he doodled some similar doodles on a paper with a really pretty banner in the middle that he wrote Rylan on in a cute swirly fount. He still wanted it to be even more special so Asa drew him in a more Anime style drawing standing beside the banner. That should make it special Asa thought to himself. “For you.” He said with a smile as he pulled it from his note book and handed it to Rylan hoping to see even a hint of a smile.

Bertram nodded to her, “How honourable, to choose your studies over friendship or the company of others. I suppose I do the same with my garden or simply being outside.”
Jara did not feel honourable doing it, but she appreciated that he could relate.
“As for that bad, I haven’t come across much bad in my live. From what I know and can gather from my minimal experience is that death is one of bad things life throws our way. The loss of someone close to us is devastating. Many people do not always get what they want either. Some are taken from homes and what they want to do, to be put somewhere they do not wish to be.” Bertram sounded distraught saying this.
Jara did not catch on though, she nodded. “That does sound like it would be an unfortunate fate. Preventing death and displacement would be a simple solution to the bad then,” Jara reported, in her usual analytical outlook. Bertram’s dialogue gave Jara good reason to avoid friendships. After all, she would not want anyone to be in pain if she failed her mission.
“If we were only to give compliments to the already great then how would those who weren’t gain the confidence to become great themselves.”
Jara never knew too much about her confidence. Even now, she does not know if she has too much or too little. Despite this, she knew she did not want to leave her life up to something so fragile as confidence, so Jara was determined to be as intelligent as possible and would need only to rely on her smarts. “I’m sure that would be great for some other person. So save your compliments for someone who needs them,” Jara responded.
“My notes are back in my room. Perhaps we could do an exchange of notes at a later time when I have them on me?”
Jara’s eyes narrowed. She thought it was stupid he didn’t have them on his person, letting out a disappointed sigh. “You should keep important stuff like that on you, lest you’re doing something dangerous. No matter, you can come to 187 when you get them. Now, I will continue to focus on my work,” Jara lightly scolded.

Not regarding his warning, Garçon only moved closer to Grégorie. He paid no heed to his disgusted countenance or his unlooking gaze. He pushed on, probably thinking that perhaps Grégorie would thus change his mind and respond by throwing himself into his arms. Hell no. “Really? Because I’m on the verge of slapping you in your smug face. But then I’d have to wash my hands constantly for the rest of the day, and that’s something I’d like to avoid,” he stated bitingly. He ignored his following comment, pretending he hadn’t heard it. He didn’t want to give him again the satisfaction he got from him earlier. Grégorie could be generous but without exaggeration. Too much was unhealthy. If he overdid it with sincere smiles, flattered glances, or quiet chuckles, Garçon would never leave him again, and that would be a true nightmare. To get rid of a drunk uncle who wanted to dance with you, you step on his foot.
“A person confident of their handsomeness would not ask if they were handsome. It’s simple,” Grégorie stated philosophically. “Rather, they would seek to have the interlocutor suggest it first.” He took a sip of water, though, at the moment, he would have gladly held the glass of wine in his hand. He could have twirled it now, creating a cacophony of colors on the walls. He would feel like a true sage then. “You don’t ask the fish if it would like to be caught. You just give it a good enough bait.” No matter how great it might be, Grégorie would never, ever admit that Garçon was handsome. His hair was the color of the sweet, energetic coffee one drank in the morning. It curled around his forehead like ivy winding around Italian marble. His eyes were dark, giving the impression of the black abyss of a calm ocean that frightens and delights at the same time. Garçon was, without doubt, a man woven of the noblest threads, and therefore the most dangerous. Such men could not be trusted, for all the material intended for them had been expended on external goods.
He could sense that his winking friend wanted to add something else. It probably involved his talented mouth, but Grégorie preferred not to know what it could do. Audrey had always said that sex with someone new was an unnecessary taboo. In her opinion, there was nothing condemnable about it. She had been a participant in such experiences. She recalled most of them quite well (not counting the one when one of her lovers recited Bukowski’s poems while climaxing). Grégorie had a different opinion on the subject. He had encountered several times the impression that such a spontaneous nocturnal encounter had been proposed to him. Though, he had always refused. Not because he thought he had to know someone well and fall in love with them, but because he would feel used. Even if it was a mutual agreement. Garçon would probably agree with his friend. They would probably get along just fine in general. God, why was he even thinking about it? After all, they’ll never know each other anyway. Grégorie wouldn’t have wanted his acquaintance with Garçon to last any longer than it needed to. Lunch with him was definitely enough for Grégorie. Now they would just leave the place together and then forget everything. They would become colleagues from the school corridor, blending in with the other people you say hello to even though you no longer remember their name. Grégorie did not want to be completely cruel. He reacted with a proud nod to Garçon’s acting display - whether he was proud of Garçon’s skill or of the fact that he made Garçon shut up would remain his secret.
There was no denying that Garçon was also caught up in their little scheme. He and Grégorie were as different as they could be, and even a fool would notice that. Garçon lit up every room he entered, Grégorie remained in the shadows. The former never shut his mouth, and Grégorie only spoke when he had to. The other preferred solitude, the latter company. One could go on and on. Despite this, Garçon now stood by Grégorie’s side, determined to make a successful escape. Although he would probably go buy a ticket later anyway. Most importantly, though, his partner would not be Grégorie.
Garçon looked around the room. He was taller than Grégorie (though a few artificial centimeters were added by his high hairdo). The shorter boy hoped the height would give him an advantage. Unfortunately, Garçon hadn’t spotted her either. Their plan promised to be a great one. However, MOST IMPORTANTLY, Garçon figured out what they could call the pink ticking bomb. “Flamingo?” Grégorie looked at him and laughed uncertainly. “Don’t you think that’s a little too obvious… she might hear us and realize it’s about her. What do you think of the code ‘devil incarnate’?” he offered. Despite appearances, the flamingo was frankly a pretty good secret code. But Grégorie would not want to associate these majestic birds with this amaranth bane to his existence.
Besides, Garçon suggested that they come up with spy nicknames. Yes, because that was what they needed most right now. Garçon figured it was so she wouldn’t know their real names, and Grégorie decided to go along with that explanation. After all, he wanted to come up with his own alter ego himself. Only it was the other agent who said it out loud first. “PB&J?” Grégorie looked at him questioningly again. While flamingo was an acceptable nickname, his next idea was terrifying. Grégorie had no intention of calling himself peanut butter. “You know what else goes great together?” he began encouragingly. “I could be Jam, and you could be… Tuna. T&J. They go great together if someone wants diarrhea.”
Grégorie turned his head again toward the two escape options. Logically, it would be wiser to go past the booth. There were many people there, so one could easily blend in with the crowd. Besides, if he remembered correctly, the devil incarnate had gone after her victim, moving a good few feet away from the booth. Even if she spotted them, they would still have enough time to get away from her. Garçon seemed to think the same thing. Like Grégorie, he figured that the teachers wouldn’t bother them. Besides, it would be much easier for them to disappear in a group of the rest of the students. “I know it’s risky. I wasn’t going to disagree with you. Just don’t grin like that when I tell you I was thinking the exact same thing.” he turned away from him, knowing that a goofy, pearly smile had appeared on Garçon’s face anyway.
“And, Grégorie. If she sees us. Run,” Garçon warned him. Grégorie looked down at his limp legs and slightly rounded tummy. He wasn’t in the worst shape, and he exercised on the weekends, but that didn’t mean he was an athlete. He was as suited to running as a book was to being a bicycle wheel. He shook his head with uncertainty. “I can’t run even a few feet without getting out of breath, let alone up the stairs to my dormitory,” he bit his tongue. Garçon didn’t need to know at all that Grégorie lived upstairs. Now he would go around all the rooms and knock, waiting for Grégorie to finally reveal himself on the other side. Oh, sweet mother of God.
They had to come up with something else - an extra plan, one for a rainy day was a good idea, but with the running thing, Garçon had already failed. Maybe he was athletic, Grégorie - the opposite. “Okay, then when she sees us, you distract her, and I’ll dissolve into shadows. You know, just flirt with her, smile a few times, so she doesn’t focus on me.” He sighed as he knew he had to say the inevitable. Grégorie wanted to put it off as long as he could, but he couldn’t be doing that anymore. Now was a good time. He bit his lip and dug his nails into his palms. “As a thank you, of course, I’ll return the favor. I don’t know, I can help with homework or pay for your breakfast. And if it comes to the point where we have to buy those unfortunate tickets… I’ll reimburse any expenses.” He clapped his hands together so that Garçon would not have time to react. “Well, so, now let’s go,” he motioned forward down the vacant corridor.
No it wasn’t! IT WAS GREAT! JUST LIKE THIS ONE IS! I love it! And thank you, Esme’s daughter do be winning people over, hehe~ I hope there was no god-modding but tell me if I need to change anything!
