Autumn nodded, “Yea, I’m free this evening.” She said as she brushed her hair behind her ear. She was eager to spend more time with her first new friend. Autumn listened intently to Sonny’s apology with her back still turned and tears still silently streaming down the smooth, rosy complexion of her cheeks. Sonny then came around and looked her in the eyes once more, she spoke of Autumn’s kindness and tendency to look out for everyone else but herself. Sonny then went on to say that she was wrong about her feelings, as well as her mother’s.
Autumn turned away from her again and would’ve cried a little more but the way in which Sonny said it made her feel a little better, she wasn’t angry, just comforting. Autumn gave a little laugh as tears still slowly streamed down her face when Sonny mentioned favorite color. Sonny started again and began to compliment her abilities only to say that she didn’t really care because her father was a farmer too. Autumn could hear Sonny take a deep breath then told her about her ex-boyfriend, something she really didn’t have to do and Autumn felt bad that she felt like she had to, because of her. She then went on to say that cares about the hear, and seemed to get the impression that Autumn has a beautiful heart.
Autumn may have been blushing while still crying softly, but she really couldn’t understand why Sonny seemed to shower her with compliments all the time, Autumn knew that she was completely ordinary and for some stubborn reason…Sonny didn’t seem to think so. Autumn took a breath and thought of what she was going to say for the first time since her little meltdown. She slowly turned back around and wiped her tears, “Sonny, I-” She stopped and seemed to reevaluate what she was going to say, as if she wanted it to be just right. “I really do appreciate all those things, but that girl you see me as, I’m not her. I’m the quiet, shy girl with glasses who enjoys reading and working in the orchards or my father’s garden.” Autumn paused thinking about exactly what to say. “But, that being said, I’m also that girl who doesn’t want to hurt anyone and as such I promised you something,” She began softly, “I promised you that I would give this–us a shot and I fully intend to do so.” At the end of that little speech, Autumn pulled Sonny into a hug, with one last tear streaming down her face and an awkward laugh.
@ethereal ~ Sonny - I CAN’T WAIT!!! SOMEONE GIMME A TIME MACHINE!!
”You okay?” Zena whispered. She knew that pronouncing things was hard, after all, she was in speech therapy for 2 years when she was younger.
”I know words can be hard to pronounce. But I can help you?” She suggested, with a small smile.
”What is your next class?”
Zena turned looking around the long hallway.
“There are a lot of people here. Are you nervous?” Zena watched as more kids walk into the busy hallway. She could feel herself starting to get a little claustrophobic.
“Let’s get out of here,” she stated, trying to get her mind off the horrible thoughts that were starting to resurface. She took a deep breath and placed a shaking hand on the student’s shoulder.
Sherwin was very tempted to reconsider her offer to pay but he knew it would be wrong. He left then returned again, having eaten the rest of his snacks and now officially out of food. He chuckled, “Sometimes, I forget that I’m too fast for everyone else.” He figured that staying any longer would just make him ask if she would pay for him, “So, on with the tour?”
Tsuru giggled when Sherwin blew through his snacks in the blink of an eye. “Fast. Very fast.” He then asked if they were to move on with the tour, and they nodded. “Yes. You saw dorms, right?” They asked, assuming that he’d already been to his dorm because of his changes clothes. @Bluecookies - Sherwin
Yen awoke to her phone alarm beeping. She sighs and turns it off with a groan.
”How is it already the morning?” She whispers to herself.
After laying there for another few seconds, Yen pulls back her blanket and pushes herself off the warm bed. She does her morning routine then pulls out a white tank top, and blue jeans. She quickly throws them on then runs down the stairs.
“Mom, I’m ready to go!” Yen yells. She pulls out her phone, seeing a new message.
“Hey sweetie. An emergency came up at work. You’re going to have to walk to school.” Yen started to get sad, realizing that she couldn’t see her mother in the morning. Yen felt a tear go down her cheek. She was lonely. She just wanted a hug.
She took a deep breath, grabbed her backpack and her house key, and walked to school.
Yen looked around, she knew this would happen. None of her friends were here. Yen wanted to cry, but she knew she was stronger than that. She pulled out the pack of A23 batteries she had in her backpack. She wanted to run, and she wanted to run fast.
She pulled out 6 A23 batteries. That would make her speed 870 mph for one minute. She was going to use that minute to her advantage.
Yen ran, and ran, and ran, she could feel her power draining quickly. But what she didn’t expect is someone to catch her.
Yen started to fall from the abrupt drop in speed, but she didn’t hit her knees on the ground this time, instead, someone caught her as they tumbled and pulled her close to their chest.
Yen opened her eyes and looked up at this student, a look of shock, and horror filled her eyes as she saw the boy place a jacket on her shoulders with his eyes closed.
Yen stood, blushing. She quickly picked up the jacket, and pulled it over her small frame. The large jacket was massive on her body. The jacket probably went to the bottom of his torso, but on her it was just above her knee.
Sherwin had been talking to Tsuru and was about to answer when he say a flash of light and with the slightest twitch, everything slowed down but the blinding light didn’t, wait, it’s not light, that’s- Sherwin had gently pushed Tsuru out of the way and caught the girl, protecting her from the tumble. As he continued moving, he noticed the fabric of her shirt was burning away, in mere seconds of real time, she’d be shirtless in front of everyone in the Castleteria, without looking at the girl he ran to his room and grabbed his jacket, he swiftly returned and put it around her shoulders, covering her up and turned away. When the girl cleared her throat and told him he could turn around he had asked her name and replied that it was beautiful.
Everything was normal speed again as the pair returned to the resting speed of 0 mph. “You gotta be more careful, people like us, while incredibly gifted are not immune to the laws of physics, that means that if we’re wearing clothes, they’ll burn off unless they’re-” He paused for a moment, “You’re a jean kind of person, aren’t you? Jeans and jean jackets, that kind of thing. Of course it makes sense, jeans are a little more durable.” Continuing that line of thought, Sherwin turned to Yen, “You’re new to this, aren’t you?” Before he could get an answer, Sherwin continued thinking pretty fast, “Where are my manners, so sorry about that Tsuru.” He helped the girl up after stumbling. “Tsuru, this is Yen, she and I just met like half a second ago. Yen, this is Tsuru, she found me after an accident, and my name is Sherwin.” Sherwin stuck his hand out to shake. “Also don’t worry about the whole clothes thing, I’m working on it.”
@Ouijaloveletters ~ Tsuru - He managed to catch her while she was stumbling right before falling from the push. Your go next!!
@Danielle318 ~ Yen - Can’t wait to see the realization that she just met and was saved by her “long-lost” twin, whom she’s not supposed to tell the secret.
Tsuru took a breath, then in the blink of an eye, time seemed to slow, and Sherwin was shoving them out of the way of a fast approaching light. They blinked again, and there was a girl in front of them with a jacket around her shoulders. What. The. Heck. Their mind was about to explode from what just happened, sitting on the floor. How’d that happen? Sherwin started blabbing before realizing they were still on the floor. He pulled them up, introducing them to the girl. “Herro, Yen.” @Danielle318 - Yen @Bluecookies - Sherwin

”You okay?" Tove tilted there head. Am I… okay? That definitely wasn’t something they heard very often. “Yes?” ”I know words can be hard to pronounce. But I can help you?" She suggested, smiling. Tova tried a smile back. “Yes. Please.” Tove asked. They showed them the card. The cursed, “Th” sound. “S, s, s?” Tove couldn’t pronounce “sound”, it had slipping there tongue. Tove pointed to there ear, then shook there hands a couple of times. Signing the word “sound” instead of saying it. They had no clue if the person before them knew sign language, actually, the thought didn’t even appear in there mind.
“What is your next class?” Tove wasn’t exactly excited for Dark magic. Not because they didn’t not enjoy it, but because why they had to take it. Tove formed “claw” hands and placed there fingertips against his stomach. Pulling both hands forcefully up and outward. Signing “angry” or “very important” for that matter… but they meant the first one. “Dark magic.” Tove murmured. There expression “angry” if you could even call it that. Tove didn’t know how to pronounce, or sign advanced though, so they ignored it.
“There are a lot of people here. Are you nervous?" It was most definitely a new environment to Tove, but they didn’t mind it. They were usually just cast aside, alone, to fend for themselves. They shook there head “no”. “Let’s get out of here," Tove nodded in agreement, heading for a random door. They pushed it, peeked out, and saw it was safe. It lead outside. They turned around to look bat the person. “I am Tove, now.” They said, feeling more like Tove then Tova. They took there left, dominant hand with fingers spread out and thumb touching the middle of your forehead. Then made an arc from forehead to the center of his chest. Signing “man”, as that’s what they felt more like right now. Though it could change soon. “Men.” Tove said, pointing to there chest, just to be clear.
@Danielle318 | ooh this is exciting sorry for all the ASL if it was confusing!! | okay, to everyone in the Tate/ Tatum my apologies I’ll be on that soon!
To be honest, Rylan didn’t even know he’d been staring at Asa’s face for so long until Asa spoke to him, snapping him out of his trance, reddening his pink cheeks, widening his dark eyes and putting a slightly bigger smile on his full lips. “Y-you- they’re your favorite too?” He asked, still trying to tug himself back to reality, looking hopefully at Asa. He didn’t know what impediment meant, but he was a bit too elated to dwell on that and feel bad about himself. He looked slightly proud again-despite the fact he didn’t know what impediment meant, he knew what respect meant and it made him sit up a little straighter. Meanwhile, Shelldon, a bit further away, was staring at the space between his brother and Asa-there seemed to be something there besides a favorite dinosaur but he couldn’t yet place a finger on it. “What about me, Asa? Mine’s the Kunbarrasaurus,” Shelldon teased, like he also wanted Asa’s impediment respect.
He laughed, doing an imaginary hair flip as Asa agreed with his joke-“I know, I know. Don’t feel bad, though-you’re still pretty good.” He joked again, liking the bit of sarcasm that had slipped into Asa’s tone there. “Oh my gosh, you’re so right.” The immaculately white sleeve was peeled back from the back of Shelldon’s hand, smudgy image revealed. He knew he’d have to hide it again when class started-you never knew whether you’d get a teacher that complimented you on your artistry, or one who scolded you and sent you to detention. Rylan looked down at his feet scornfully when the topic became all about racing-he’d honestly rather have anything else. “I have some stuff that was my dad’s, he kept stuff from every race he went to. I honestly don’t know what to do with it now that…” Although Rylan’s eyes were on his feet, they did widen. Wait. Did Asa’s dad… He couldn’t imagine what life would be like without one of his dads…well, actually, he knew what things were like without either of them. He wondered how long it had been without his dad… Either way, he only shook his head, curls bouncing as he glowered. He felt like a d-ck for it. But he couldn’t bear to possess any racing items, he’d already gotten rid of his a long time ago. Shelldon looked like he wanted to kick Rylan as he rested a gentle hand on Asa’s arm-“I’d love to. You’re the sweetest. I’ll be sure to come to your dorm sometime.” He leaned closer, “Rylan’s not trying to hurt your feelings. I’ll explain sometime, but it would be too hard for him.” He said in a voice so low, even sharp-eared Rylan couldn’t hear it over all the noise.
Rylan gave Asa his full attention-it was the least he could do after he had asked something so personal. “I’m sorry.” He finally said gruffly, looking away for a moment. “He sounds like a really amazing dad. That’s really unfair.” He bit his tongue-how could Asa be trying to smile?! It didn’t reach his eyes, but it tugged forcefully on his lips. Rylan couldn’t imagine… if he’d lost his dad in such an awful way, he could never smile about it the way Asa was. Rylan wished he could cheer him up, but he was too much of a dumb-ss for that. He was such a burden it seemed to him everything he did would just make Asa feel worse and keep crying. Instead, he passed more napkins to Shelldon to give to Asa. “We’re sorry for bringing it up,” Shelldon apologized, even though it wasn’t his fault. He stared half sympathetic and half blank at Asa-the idea of losing his parents-his saviors terrified him. He held so much admiration for the boy who had not only gone through that, but was able to bear such a smile despite.
Shelldon also looked disappointed, and hoped he hadn’t made Asa feel bad with the advanced stuff. “Hey, at least we have those two,” he agreed. He wasn’t the type to worry or get sad about going to classes alone-he liked being alone. But Asa was also his friend, so it would be nice to have some company in the electives. Rylan was kinda looking like he really wished he’d taken art and languages, so Shelldon didn’t try to seem the most excited, however, he did flash Asa a pretty big smile. Rylan looked defeated when he was told they only had ONE class together-what were the odds? He didn’t even care about school, he’d really take any class if he had good people in the class with him. He threw his head back too, “D-mn. That does really suck- I wish I’d picked different ones.” If only the two were switched around, he thought, looking upset but not upset at Asa. Honestly, he’d ditch but Shelldon was such a rule follower and forced him to go to every class, so that would basically be impossible. His brows raised as he remembered Asa had a phone-“Er…um…eh…if you give me your number maybe we could keep in touch during class?” He suggested, quietly and blushing. Shelldon gave him a look-Rylan was supposed to pay attention during class, not text. But he didn’t say anything because he understood how hard and rare it was for Rylan to ask something like that.
Asa shook his head, telling Shelldon to do a serious pose. He rolled his eyes playfully-“Dad would love it.”“No he wouldn’t.” Rylan said, straining to swat the bunny ears away. The two boys smiled at the camera as Asa prepared to take a second shot. The smile seemed to somewhat dim after the picture was taken as Shelldon returned to his seat. Though all of a sudden, he felt like someone had clobbered him-Shelldon? No-it was Asa, pale, smiling face only inches from him, arms around his neck. Rylan almost fell over with surprise and he tried to slow his pounding heart-they were so close, surely Asa could hear or feel it. Happy?“You’re a lot more happy than me. You’re the one who made my day. Shelldon’s right, I’m just a grouch,” Rylan mumbled to him, his entire face red as he tried to cover it with one hand and hug Asa with the other. He secretly loved hugs, he just didn’t know how to receive them.
@bpalmer - asa : sorry this took so long!! YOUR POST MADE ME FEEL SO MUCH BETTER-
“Would you like me to pull up a football quiz so you can brag about your knowledge?” The girl kindly suggested, fork combing through her salad. “Every game, you say? My, that’s an impressive feat.” Ace puffed out his chest, sitting up even straighter-finally he had found something that impressed this stubborn girl. “I know. Bet you’ve never met another guy who could do that,” Ace told her, running a hand through his hair, satisfied with himself and his vast knowledge. “Feel free to pull up that quiz-though I don’t know if you can find one I haven’t taken.” He folded his arms, thinking this would surely impress her further. “People who lie for their gain are just so despicable are they not?” Now, Ace was not a very self-aware person, but he did acknowledge the fact that he did this all the time. Especially to girls-he would say anything if it meant getting their number or a date. They were stupid like that, and he was sure she was no different, she would fall for any lie he told her and think he was the greatest guy around. Especially after he said this… “Oh, for sure. I’ve met so many fake people like that, luckily I cut those b-stards out. I’m the realest guy you’ll meet-I can’t remember the last time I lied. Maybe when I was like, two.” Actually, that time was a millisecond ago. He smirked-so she liked sewing? That was cool-and he had been right. Even though he thought sewing was boring, it didn’t matter, now he could talk more about himself. “Tea?” He wrinkled his nose- he never really had tea. “I"m more of a Red Bull guy. Ooh, and Mountain Dew, and red Gatorade. Tea kinda tastes like flavorless sh-t,” Ace said tastelessly-almost as if he were unaware how rude that was.
@cadborosa - joelene : sorry idk about the quality of this one-
The pink and silver rings on her right hand clinked lightly against the glass, seeming to catch his eye. She always made sure everything about her looked almost decorated, even her hands. However, her left hand-though manicured like the right-remained barren of jewelry. She watched as he drew a little line around the rim of the glass-was he trying to make a high-pitched ringing noise? He let out a little sigh before taking a swig-adorably strange, but Tulip wasn’t going to linger on all the quirks when she had plenty of her own mannerisms that could definitely be described as “different” at best. She giggled when he called her a thief-“I need it more than you, guinea pig,” she told him, grinning mysteriously as she daintily sniffed the lemon, then set it on the clean edge of her plate. She slid the glass back towards herself and took a more tentative sip. She made sure to rotate it so she didn’t sip the same place he had and gross him out. “Hm, not bad.” she remarked, pursing her lips as she set the glass down, leaving tiny fingerprints on the fogged-up glass. He laughed again-he had a cute laugh. What he said next piqued Tulip’s attention, not that she was getting bored. Not only did he agree to the two guesses, if she won, he would do a truth or dare. This was her absolute favorite game-she always ended up playing it with everyone she met. Her eyes flashed challengingly as she nodded, tucking a long strand of hair behind her ear. “You’re on. As a matter of fact, in the unlikely event that I’m wrong, I’ll also do a truth or dare.” She inhaled, all the names she knew floating through her head as she tried to decide which one fit the boy in front of her the best.
Bay nodded with a firm smile when Pearl answered-she was definitely fun and so were picture books. “Yeah!!! You’re right!! You’re really fun too, but you seem more like a gorgeous magazine filled with pretty models,” Bay stated thoughtfully, Pearl literally looked like a model to her. Pearl sniffed, sad again because she didn’t yet have Bay’s number. Bay’s hand immediately flew to her phone, a more new model with a clear case. The case was filled with glitter, water, and small shells that shifted around with Bay’s every move. “NO YOU’RE NOT!!! I didn’t ask for Ariadne’s number, but I’m a great friend!! Plus, you just asked now!! Let’s exchange!! Do you have Instagrimm? I just started a new side account.” Bay almost yelled in attempts to cheer up her friend.
She bit her lip, admitting it was because she always asked her friends for money. “I-i-is that bad?” Bay shook her head furiously, clenching her fists as her braids hit her in the face. “No!! You need money, they should give it to you! From now on, just ask me!! I’m a true friend,” Bay blabbered, patting Pearl on the arm again. Pearl disagreed with her and she huffed, “That’s NOT true!! Well, maybe a teeeeeny bit because I do look like a tomato with my hair. But you’re soooo beautiful.” She protested truthfully. She smiled at Bay, saying she was happy for her, and Bay almost cried too, out of happiness-the support made her so happy! “Me too!” She shouted happily.
Tabitha had just gotten out of Kingdom History, her hooded cloak, brushing against the floor. This was in order to protect her from the sun. She had her head down, wondering where she should eat. Did the library have many windows? Well…she’d find out. She got food, hiding away in a dark corner of the room. She hoped someone would sit next to her. She was lonely and wanted friends. @CrazyCaliope - Robin
Alrighty! Robin can come over.
Asa was glad to have these two as friends he couldn’t deny that and honestly was pretty glad that they seemed to have some similar interests to him. Rylan still had more of his attention just because it was still hard for Asa to read him. He seemed so all over the place. He had a hard exterior but every little thing Asa did broke that down bit by bit. Rylan shook him from his thoughts when he asked about dinosaurs “Yeah really they are my favorite and hope now that I know they are yours too that I might info dump a Little.” Asa was giggling as he talked to Rylan about velociraptor. “Those are pretty cool I dont know as much about them but I have some pretty cool facts on them Shelldon. I hope you dont already know them though.” Asas said as they though. “But all dinosaurs are cool regardless.”
Asa couldn’t help but laugh as he caught a glimpse of Shelldon’s sarcasm. “But Yeah I know I certainly couldn’t do better at all.” He said as he laughed as he doodled on his hand a small set of stars that he drew lines between to make a wolf. Asa didnt care what teachers said about his drawings especially the ones that were on him so he made no effort to cover it at all. Asa noticed that Rylan seemed upset when he had mentioned racing but he had no idea why. Asa was really confused. Maybe that was something that Rylan would tell him in his own time. Asa noted to steer clear of that as a topic but took a deep breath. He still wasn’t used to talking about his dad in the past tense. He knew it would get easier but it was still a fresh wound for now. He had Hrvoje though that wasn’t the same but at least he wasn’t alone. Asa knew it would have been so much worse had he been completely alone after his dad’s death. Asa kept the fake smile it was the best way he knew to keep himself from crying over it and he had done that so many times already that he wanted to be done crying. He knew he would cry about it later so keeping it in now wasn’t such a big deal. Asa still noted the tension between Rylan and Shelldon even though he was upset and lost in his own thoughts. “Thanks that is great and I would appreciate it.” Asa replied as he bit his lip. He was glad someone would get it out of his room every time he looked at the box in his room he would sob. “I didnt think he was I assumed there was more to it.” Asa said as he put a hand on Rylan’s shoulder. “I didnt know it struck a nerve with you too Im sorry I brought it up.” Asas told Rylan still fake smile planted on his lips but it wasn’t quite as fake as it had been earlier.
Asa knew that Rylan was beating himself up for asking about Asa’s family and dad and stuff but that was not his fault. “You didnt know its ok you dont have to be sorry about it.” Asa let a small real smile replace the fake one honestly Rylan hadn’t known it had been a mistake and to know he cared enough to apologize meant a lot. "He really was an amazing dad Im a little partial. " He said as he giggled a little trying to keep the mood light. “Im not going to cry im ok lets just talk about something else.” Asa mumbled as he tried to keep his mind from wandering there. “I said it wasn’t your fault you didnt know so dont worry about it.” Asa explained again as he nodded and made sure that he was ok.
Asa knew that he was not capable of keeping up in advanced classes and that had never bothered him so he found it strange that Shelldon had voiced anything about advanced classes upsetting Rylan. “Yeah a few is better than none.” Asa commented nodding. Asa wished that Rylan had more than one class with him hanging out and having a study friend would have been really great but it didnt seem to be meant to be. Asa smiled back at Shelldon as he honestly debated asking to change his schedule but math first thing in the morning with the way him and the math teacher got along was not going to work well for either of them. “Yeah I agree I wish we had more together but we can study together still since we have the same morning classes… just in a different order.” Asa grumbled about them not being in the same order as he scrunched up his nose. Asa got excited as he heard Rylan mention his phone. “Heck yeah um here it is.” Asa said as he double checked and wrote his number on a napkin. Asa was blushing a little but was too happy and excited to let that phase him much. “That way you can call or text me whenever you want.”
“They are really good pictures honestly.” Asa commented as he looked at the picture he had just taken. “I t captures both of you well.” Asa giggled as he finally got Sheldon to take a somewhat serious one. That was a keeper they both looked happy Rylan’s smile still about Killed Asa though it was too precious, Asa was hoping that Rylan didnt mind hugs. He was a touchy guy and had gotten into trouble before with people who didnt really like to be touched but it was too late Asa already had his arms around Rylan. His heart was pounding and that honestly kind of worried Asa that Rylan was mad that he had hugged him without saying anything. Even if that was the situation it would have been worth it in Asa’s mind. “Stop it you are not a grouch but Im glad I could make your day too.” Asa was so excited they he wasn’t ready to let go just yet. when he hugged him back with one arm though that was an invite not to let go yet. “Im glad you liked it so much.” Asa was beaming. “My hug included in that.” Asa mumbled. “But there are more where that came from.” @ethereal
“Hm, that’s a good point. You can eat all the healthiest foods no matter how they taste, so that’s a benefit,” Jara nodded. She noted that she should think of what other bad things could have a benefit. Yet, her mind couldn’t come up with anything beneficial about a soul-snatching headmaster. Jara’s gaze turned back to Háo, blankly starring for a second. She then took a small breath before speaking, “Háo… Don’t thank me until I find an actual solution.”
Stirner took a small beef stick out of his pocket and started eating it. As the person he just randomly struck up a conversation with continued to talk, his eating slowed to a stop, beef stick hanging from his lips. Stirner didn’t expect to get that much information, but he wasn’t opposed to it. He let his brain process what they said before speaking. Stirner nodded, tilting his head backward to make the beef stick falls into his mouth, where he finished eating it. “That’s cool, wear what you like. But I can’t help but notice that you’re thinking way too much about what your mother wants. Say, what would you want to be? Since you said your mother wants you to be a model, you disagree?” Stirner questioned, trying to gauge the situation.
Joelene had to admit, he was right. Joelene had never met someone who was that bland to have football knowledge as their only good trait. Ace accepted her quiz idea, just as she wanted. Joelene quickly pulled up a football quiz. She lightly chuckled, knowing he was insulting himself to look cool. Joelene had to quickly turn away as he started listing what he liked to drink. Inside, she was laughing her head off, but she had to contain her outside appearance for now. Though, it felt like she might keel over laughing at any second. “So, you know how flavorless poop tastes? How’d you figure that one out?” Joelene snickered. She checked her phone then looked back at Ace, “Okay, quiz time! I’ll ask you five questions about football, and we’ll see how you do. Which team is known by the name of ‘The Canaries’? What team has the nickname of The Foxes? What year did the first-ever recorded woman’s football match take place? How long is one match? When was the football league established?”
“Follow him” he pointed to a boy. “Oh, who is he? Do you know him?” she slightly scrunched her eyebrows but started walking behind the boy anyway. “Don’t worry, there are two directions to go and to go to a cafeteria at lunchtime, you just follow the direction most people seem to take.” Leonor was impressed with his thinking. “That’s smart! I hadn’t thought about that,” she said loudly. “Oh, I don’t think I know your name yet. I’m Leonor, by the way.” she flashed him a cute smile and fastened her pace, occasionally looking at the boy to see which way he was going. He glanced back for a moment as he felt her eyes on him. He gulped and started walking faster, suspecting someone was following him. Leonor, noticing him fasten his pace, hurried behind him. “Quick, we’re going to lose him!” she pulled Asil and jogged behind the random boy, not realising that she was scaring the poor boy.
“It’s so cool that you can turn into a human and a cat! I’ve always wanted to be a human. I could do so many things as a human. It’d be so fun! Can you turn me into a human?” she made her best puppy kitty face to convince cat lady. She imagined all the amazing things she would do as a human; walk on two legs, write and draw, get food from the counter, steal clothes from Ahnvi and wear them (though it probably wouldn’t fit her), and many more things! Thinking about it excited her.
“Oh, because you’re small like a peanut. I get it. That’s cute.” she chuckled. “No…” Cat Lady frowned. “It’s because my owner likes peanuts, but okay!” The more she thought about Cat Lady’s reason, it more it made sense. “What does your name mean? Is it something cute too?”
Peanut gasped when she saw Cat Lady growing into an even bigger cat. “Whoa…” Peanut admired her. She wanted to be just like her; big, strong, cool-looking, but still cute. “What’s a Bakaneko?” she asked. “Does it mean a big cat? A big human cat?”
“Oh, I didn’t know that! I guess you learn something new everyday.” Lum stared at her, for what seemed to be hours “I guess you do.” She said. "Hey, let me get something to eat. The food here is delicious.” she said and walked to the counter. When Ahnvi came back, both Lum and Rose didn’t notice as they were busy auguring. “As I was saying, I wouldn’t call them crushes , but I did meet two guys.” Rose wiggled her brow, “Are they attractive?” She smirked.
