Hello my beautiful people! 
Here’s an idea I came up with out of boredom and I hope you’ll like it! I decided to watch each Academy’s Best Picture winner (now I know that not all the movies that have an Oscar are the best but that’s what we’re going to determine here!)
My idea is that we are going to follow this list from the oldest movies to the newest (unless you would prefer to do it the opposite way):
I know that there are almost a hundred of them but I hope that this thread will be alive to watch at least twenty. Also, I’m aware of the fact that finding older films might be a very tough task (for example, I still can’t find Wings which frustrates me!) but I’m sure with the help of others, we will be able to somehow find them!
So how is it going to work?
On each Friday/Saturday I’ll tell you which movie we are supposed to watch, then the next week we are going to discuss our opinions about it. Was it worth watching? Did it deserve an Oscar? We can share our favorite quotes, characters, scenes! Sometimes we may disagree with each other but it’s okay! Just remember to respect other people’s thoughts, you may ask them why they think that, just do it in an open-minded and respectful way! But most importantly: let’s just have fun!
At the very end, each of us is going to rank the movies from 1 to 10, and based on that we will determine if it’s worth watching or not.
If you like this idea, you can say that you are willing to participate in it and watch those hopefully great movies with me! It doesn’t mean that you have to see all of them, just… when you see a title that caught you eye, watch it and share your opinions with us!
Also, I might not be always available to host those discussions so if you are able to be my co-host and jump in my place from time to time, I would be glad! But no worries, if I am not able to host the discussion, I’m going to give heads-up at least two days before the movie reviewing!
