Flight Rising Tutorial

Flight Rising Tutorial

Getting Started

Welcome to Flight Rising! The game is free, just check out their website which should display this:

Fill out the information, get the confirmation code from your email, and your account will be set up! Log in again and you’ll get to start the game.

You get to pick your “elemental flight” at the start out of 11 options.

  • Arcane, Earth, Fire, Ice, Light, Lightning, Nature, Plague, Shadow, Water, and Wind.

Don’t worry about these too much, as the game assures me you can change it later. Hopefully this doesn’t cost too much, but I couldn’t find the option.

The shadow flight sounds the most interesting to me, so I’ll be using that flight for the rest of this tutorial.

You’ll then get to customize your first dragon, choosing a type, gender, colors, and name for them.

Once you do that, a dragon with the opposite gender should appear and you should be allowed to breed the two of them. You can click on “Preview Offspring” to see what the babies of the two dragons might look like.

After breeding your dragons, you should gather items for your clan. You can navigate through several pages or click on the “Gather Items” to gather items for your clan. There are a few different activities you can do here, which you can only do a limited number daily. These aren’t minigames, you just press a button and see what results from it.

You can also play several different minigames in the Coliseum, where you can play games to earn money, which you can use in one of many different shops or markets. Example shown below:

Keep checking in and doing events and you should be able to progress through the game!

You should worry since it’s a big part of the experience and you can only change it once for free, then you need gems :gem::pleading_face:

ehhh is it that much :joy:

Yeah, since there is dominance between the flights and you get special aesthetics and the flights are of different sizes and it determines the color of the eyes of the dragons. The different flights have their own sub forums

There are also special events for each flight and they get more gathering turns and usually have a profit push right before their event.

It’s not that important but it might make the difference for staying an active player or thinking that it’s boring.

but there’s already so little to do

Why did you even make a tutorial? (Assuming you’re not playing the game) There are lots of stuff to do except from the built in stuff. A lot is done on the forums, planning, shops, art, forum games etc.

Sure, but there aren’t a lot of game mechanics, unfortunately. I was testing it out, because I’ve heard a lot about it. I’m sure the groups really make the game, although interestingly I’ve played vaguely similar games that had slightly less community support, which really just emphasized the lack of anything to do in them :eyes:

There are lots of stuff to do :sob: For example a breeding project. It’s difficult to get the genes and colors you want to. You maybe want special apparel and collect familiars. Open a breeding shop, do art and dominance in the coliseum.

My friend is crazy in ChickenSmoothie which is similar. But you maybe want more action, fast paced games :joy: There are lots to do but it’s a forum based game kind of.

I don’t have the patience for that :joy:

A lot of games also start out really slowly, so I’m not passing judgement on the whole thing just yet

Hahaha I mean you start with nothing but some lairs are amazing  And you should really check out the threads. They are all very organized and people have made insane statistics. It’s amazing how much time they spend on their threads and guides
