I’m nixing the anonymous part so that way I can tag better instead. Sorry, to those who wanted to stay anonymous. Let’s continue with polls. I will only be tagging those who vote on the polls after this along with a handful of people that might be interested in future posts. Also, sorry if I annoyed anyone this past weekend. Stress made me hyper-focused on the forums. You get 24 hours to vote as usual. That is 24 hours and 20 minutes from the moment this post is made.

This poll is for the roleplaying games. Since it was a tie the last time for categories I’m going to given you 12 games to choose from. Remember we are going over 2 apps a week.
It’s time for the next game reviews! I have played both games multiple times. Heads up, the Pirate game has two different names it goes by. I will go over that below though. I decided to just choose which one out of the other two roleplaying games that were tied on the polls.
Game: Pirates Flag - Caribbean Sea RPG (aka Tempest)
Platform: Android
Availability: Free to Download
Pros:
Fun Gameplay
Challenging battles
You can switch between map and sea mode
Tutorials are located in the Academy
Cons:
Controls are hard to understand at first
It does throw the whole stop ads by paying for the whole game.
Issues with recording the game, so don’t try to make a video.
It’s hard to tell where the health bar is when attacking other ships
My Thoughts on the Game
Okay, so I like this game a lot. It does get a bit annoying when they offer the whole “if you don’t want ads to pay for the full game” part but it’s not a major flaw. You can still play the game with no problems even with the ads. It’s tempting since it’s a one-time fee from the looks of it. The biggest part of this game I like the most is that it’s the closest app that reminds me of Sid Meier Pirates. The only difference is you don’t get to court the daughters of the people in charge at each port. It did take me time to get used to the controls of the game. You use the arrows on each side of the screen when in sea mode to steer the ship port side (Left) and starboard (Right). It does take a bit of clicking to figure out how to use them but they have something to help with that in the game. If you need help with understanding the controls of the game then you need to go to the port known as Amelia. Click on the icon that says the Academy instead of the icon for the town. You can go through the different tutorial tasks there. So, when you attack a pirate ship you have three blue beams that stick out across the sea. These beams are the areas where you can fire at your target. The goal is to keep them in those beams so you can attack better. There is a downside since they have them too but theirs are red and more triangle-shaped instead. If you get caught in the process of trying to catch them they will attack you. You can also board the ship to take down the pirates during the fight. You have to double-click on the ship to do so. You get to control how your character fights up against the enemy in front of you. It’s challenging to get past some targets though but that adds fun to the game. I do recommend you try the app out. I did notice when I was trying to record the video of the game it would stop in the middle of recording. It has to deal with the high-powered controls of the game. There is still so much of the game I have touched on but that is for you to check out yourself if you wish to play the game.
Would I play this game from now on?
Yeah, I would still play the game after this. It will take some time to get used to the controls but I do like playing it.
Will you play this game?
Yes, I will try this game out!
Maybe, I’ll take what you said into consideration.
Some of the stories are Gender locked as well (Not a major con but a let down if you have played Choice of Games like apps)
Certain choices can end the game really short which then kicks you all the way back to the beginning
My Thoughts on the Game
I like the Wizard Choice, Rogue Choice, and other games like that which are part of this game. Apparently, Delight’s Library made those games for D&D which I never noticed until this app. I will say the whole locked stories were a bit annoying, to be honest. Though you just need to read more episodes of the stories to unlock them. As you can tell by the gameplay it’s a lot of reading which is nice since it reminds you of a book with just choices to make which is the point of the choice game. I have both the delights library and this app but I haven’t fully played both apps since I recently installed them back on my phone. I suggest you play this game if you haven’t played it before.
So, I want to bring this thread back to life. I’ll also link a poll about reviving a few other closed threads with a poll below as well. Please fill the form out below with some game suggestions! I will make the next post with the results plus some options I throw in as well.

Alright, I’m starting this back up! I’m holding off on the big reviews for the time being but I will be continuing the weekly reviews again! These are the categories in the play store on my phone. Pick the categoriies you want me to review the most. It is two games per week which means it can be two games per one category or two games from separate categories. It just depends on if there is a tie when voting.
