Heyo, @Bookworms, have you heard of any series about gangsters and dolls? I only know of one, the Tales from Alcatraz series, by Gennifer Choldenko. The series involves Moose Flanagan, a pre teen boy living on Alcatraz island in the 1930s, and his escapades on the island. It’s a great series, and I seriously recommend it. Moose’s sister Natalie, is also Autistic, in a time when people didn’t know what Autism was, so that’s super interesting. It’s a seri s of four books: Al Capone does my shirts, Al Capone shines my shoes, Al Capone does my homework, and Al Capone throws me a curveball.
