It’s more like Wattpad, to be honest. Half the site/app is for comics, although it does have a good written story base there too. I know that @/Rainbow found it great for her story, to the point of making a little money from them.

I don’t know about you, but I swear, I tend to change everything about the novel I’m still working on the older I get. It’s ridiculous! Arghh!

Just bringing the conversation here 
For my 3 most important characters, I have a general idea of their physical appearance, and some family history. (Along with their first names of course)
Part of the problem is that the story takes place in a fantasy world though, so there aren’t really direct equivalents ethnicity/nationality wise, to be able to look for surnames based on origin. And the characters are all from the same kingdom, (though for one of the characters, his family line is from a kingdom that was essentially conquered and absorbed, leading to frequent rebellion)

Oooooooh… yeah, I get you. A fantasy world does make it harder. Okay, do you have names for kingdoms, lands, forests, villages, etc?

Unfortunately not. Most of my world building has been in the characters and the magic.
So I still at some point need to nail down names for the main kingdom, the former fallen kingdom, and the magic school. Cause name wise, nothing’s really figured out aside from first names for five of the characters.

Update: two of my three most important characters have surnames now!
Now I just still need a surname for my Main character and she seems to be the one that’s been the biggest struggle
