Want a group tag for your RP or SG, event, interest group, or community inside Dripping Quills?
You’re in the right place. Group tags are a great way to bring people together and notify members about updates. They can be used for writing groups, RP circles, events, fandoms, challenges, and more.
This is where you request one, by filling in the tag request information and posting it below. Then Caliope and I can set the group up for you.
Just make sure that before you request a group tag, your group has a clear purpose and a similar tag doesn’t already exist.
How to request a group tag
Reply to this thread using the template below and fill in as much information as you can. The more detail you give us, the faster we can set it up.
Info for tag:

What people will type to tag the group. For example: @Announcements - Group Name:
The full display name of the group - Group Info:
A short description explaining what the group is for, this appears on the group page. You can choose how you’d like two format this using this kind of formatting show here:
- Owners:
Usernames of the people responsible for running or managing the group. - Join Type:
Allow users to join/leave freely or Locked (users must request to join) - Group Title: (optional)
The title members can choose to display next to their username - Avatar Flair Icon: (optional)
Choose from free icons on FontAwesome - Avatar Flair Colour or Background Colour: (optional)
If you have a preference, pick either flair or background and give use your choice of hex code colour. - Who can @ this group tag?
Choose one:
Everyone - Group members only - Owners only - Staff only
Once you’ve submitted, one of us will review your request and create the group as soon as we can. Then we’ll tell you when it’s up and ready.
Group tags help shape the community, however they’re used. So don’t be shy about creating one.
