Sounds like a good plan to me! This will be fun when the time comes!

Bump!

I am a Ravenclaw/Slytherin (The first time I took the quiz I got Slytherin, the two other times I got Ravenclaw)
I’m stuck on the 4th book. I can’t get the motivation to finish it and it’s been so long I’ve forgotten which chapter I’m on. :woman_facepalming:t4:

I’m a slytherin

I think we can all agree time travel messes up everything.

In my opinion only a few can do it correctly or at least make it interesting

Days of Future Past (X-Men)
The Flash (DC)

Avengers Endgame (Avengers)

Etc

I agree with the examples! Although with Endgame, I’m not entirely sure if Cap’s scène at the end makes sense. If time travel creates splits in the timeline, how does he grow old in their timeline? Maybe I’m wrong and in need to rewatch it, but I remember asking how he did

When it comes to each of the books here’s my opinion.

Philosopher’s Stone

I love how it sets the mood and it’ll always have a special place in my heart. It does a lot of world building and just, I like the vibe that it still feels quite innocent and what kids would do in a way.

Chamber of Secrets

One of my least favourites, it very much copies the rough outline of the first one. Still fun, but it just doesn’t stand out to me.

Prisoner of Azkaban

I like it. Even if the time traveling isn’t too consistent, I think it’s decent enough. Love the characters though, Lupin and Sirius are some of my favourites.

Goblet of Fire

I love it. The challenges, the depth in the storyline. The movie doesn’t do it justice, it’s such a good book!!!

Order of the Phoenix

One I feel gets overlooked often in how good it is. It introduces another of my favourite characters (Luna), the death of Sirius is so interestingly written and just, the way everything really darkens. It sets the mood for the battle in the last book already.

Half Blood Prince

Love all the Tom Riddle backstory in that one, that’s what makes it interesting. The Snape plot is also decent!

Deathly Hallows

A good ending for a good series. That’s really all I can say about it.

@YourfavHufflepuff, what are your thoughts on this?

I’m a Hufflepuff and I personally think cursed child was much better than order of the phoenix but that’s just my opinion!

Cursed child is amazing as a play, I’ve seen it in West End and absolutely loved it! As a book, it clearly doesn’t work, but it wasn’t ever supposed to be one :person_shrugging:t3:
What do you dislike about Order of the Phoenix?

I saw the Cursed Child a few months ago with my family and I loved it!

The print version of The Cursed Child is more of a script then it is a book so if you’re not familiar with reading scripts, it might be harder to follow

Yeah, that’s absolutely true. People just not understanding what it’s goal is and how it was written is quite sad, it gave a rad play kind of a bad reputation.

I didn’t like how order of the phoenix made harry seem angry all the time, mainly in the book, and I didn’t like the way umbridge treated harry at all!
