Cursed child is such a great play, the book as a script wasn’t as good though

Okay, that’s understandable. That darker part, also in Harry, is something I actually quite like. It shows they are actually in a war, and things are awful.

That makes sense, but the fact that Umbridge basically thinks she can do whatever she wants which is why she’s the worst character in the entire series!

Honestly same, and I absolutely hate Voldemort!
To be honest, the script is terrible as someone who teaches scriptwriting. It destroys already established characters. Plot details are convoluted. It’s just not very well crafted.
The thing that made it so amazing on stage was the spectacle. The special effects are amazing and the acting is very good — especially considering the material they had to work with.

I personally agree with everything you said except for order of the phoenix yes it does introduce Luna but after watching and reading the way Umbridge treated everyone especially harry is what made me not like the book or the movie although my brother would completly disagree with me because he loved order of the phoenix for some reason I’ll never truly be able to understand.
