My biology teacher started taking us to donate blood once we all turned 18 and since then I try to go by myself every 6 months. I love doing it, it’s good to know you can help someone that way!

Donating blood is a really good thing. There’s always someone needing blood, so your blood could be what helps someone or even helps save their life.

I donated blood in 2017, and I didn’t feel that bad afterwards… a little weak but not as bad as I thought I’d feel.
Unfortunately, the person I donated blood to died shortly after.
