I’ve done something similar. I’ve written stories about my students. Not exactly fanfic because I didn’t transport them into the world of an existing story written by a famous author, but I have made up stories about them based on real-life events.
Or, sometimes when reading a book, I start picturing the character like someone I know in real-life and I’ve even pretended the book said something that actually fit the other person instead of the book character.
For example, the book describes the character as being tall, but since I’m picturing her as some girl I know in real life that’s short, I pretend like the book says she’s short instead of tall.
oml I wrote fanfic when I was like 12
my account probably still exists on fanfiction.net but I haven’t used it in agess and it’s soo embarassing lmao. I got into Elsanna fanfic (yes ik incest) and wow that was a phase of my life anYWAY glad we’re past that.
I’ve written many fanfics, but they’re unfinished and I need inspiration to write more. Currently having an inspiration gap. My fanfics are mostly on EXO - BTS Bois, I’ve written one fanfic based on a story of B. C. Chatterjee
I really keep getting the urge to just go full in and write some Final Fantasy XIV fanfiction giving the Warrior of Light a character, dialogue, relationships and fleshing out seven other characters for a full party and making an FC, buying a house, gambling, crafting stuff for money, spending weeks on end gathering wood and plants from the Twelveswood… The urge is strong
It’s something I never thought I’d do. I went straight into writing my own stuff when I was thirteen and I never really saw what’s so special about fanfictions until two months ago. At first, I stayed up late reading all the fanfiction on tumblr I could get my hands on, lol. Then when that finished, I wrote one on Tumblr and now, two months later, I have a fandom blog on Tumblr with more than right hundred followers and no intention to stop doing this anytime soon.
I don’t think a lot of people will recognise these fandoms here but right now I’m only writing for A court of Thorns and Roses, Throne of Glass and the Folk of the Air. I don’t want to write for every fandom I am in, only the ones I really really love.
The worst part is I loathe Acotar now and I’ve only started seeing the so many problems in throne of Glass too so I don’t know how long I’ll continue writing fanfics for these fandoms lol.
No but I’ve kind of wanted to try it lol (in the past at least). Probably when I was younger and in that roblox phase. Now I don’t really think I have any interest in it. It would just be a waste of my time honestly. I don’t really like fanfic. Although some of them can be really funny.
