I like the idea of dressing up and getting candy, but I’m not much into the spooky aspect of Halloween, nor the history of it.
As for Thanksgiving, I don’t care for the history, but I do like the idea of sharing, getting together with family, and having a large feast. It isn’t celebrated in my country, but we do celebrate it at work because besides teaching English, we also teach American culture.
Yeah, I like the thought of Thanksgiving, and I celebrate, but the history sucks.
