Cerys Evans
We all left for theater and sat together. I was sitting next to Devin as we were just talking about random things. Suddenly Xero popped up again. "CAN WE AT LEAST KEEP ONE PLACE IN TACT? " I exclaim with a frown as I looked to them with a sign. âWelp this time he showed up before we got everything, I think itâs a personal record for himâ I added with a chuckle. I wasnât really scared anymore at this point. As Malcolm said, it happens a lot and Eva will handle things again.

Cerysâ concern was just about the same as everyone was familiar with the attacks at this point Whatever initial panic that Malcolm experienced was replaced by a strange calm that shouldnât have been happening, but habits did hit hard. So did the chandelier.
âThis is certainly interesting, Xero got here before anything substantial happened,â he commented to Ceyrs, âsince there is nothing else to do, want to keep tabs in the fight? Twenty quid that Evangaline specifically uses her shadow to take out all the drones at once.â
Devin Pierce
Devin along with other just started to have some fun. He intentionally was beside Cerys to of course flirt with her again when Jaxon showed up.
âNow, I would love this turf right here, so how about you step aside?â, Devin heard Xeroâs voice.
Devin leaned to Cerys. âMiss Love, unless you have any intentions to help either of these opponents or competitors, whatever we call them, are we allowed to just flee away somewhere more private and peaceful?â,he whispered to her. âNot really wanna participate in the chaos like last timeâ, Devin shrugged.
Cerys Evans
I grinned at Devin, âWhat donât want your ass bing saved from falling debris again by me, Iâll gladly be your fox in shining armorâ I joke before I turned to malcolm and chuckle. "Hmm interesting, but I think as most of the times, sheâll probably use her shadow to focus on him"I said.

Evangeline Le Fay. I Location: Hotel Lobby.
Evangeline took a heavy sigh as she felt the same surge of power creeping into the theater, Xero the same overlord who persistently attempted to take over any turf she possessed. Frankly she was tired of the old routine.
The roof caved in per usual as demons screamed and scurried attempting to leave or hide, Xeroâs ship came into sight as he landed on the stage letting his coat gracefully flow behind him- Evangeline couldnât help but let a laugh slip at his typical boastful ego.
âEvangeline, we meet again,â Xero announced, voice reverting around the halls. His drones were doing one hell of a job portraying his announcement but it wasnât such a good machine for Evangelineâs sensitive bunny ears. Evangeline watched as Xero did his routine.
âOf course you brought your hotel group again on the perceived notion of âredemptionâ. Really, the eventual failure is always the same, you should be an actress instead of a singer for all the demons you fooled into your passion project.â Xero boasted gleefully continuously checking his drones signal. And of course bringing over multiple drones and summoning his blaster.
âNow, I would love this turf right here, so how about you step aside?â Xero stated with pride as his drones charged as-well.
Evangeline rolled her eyes already feeling an on-coming headache. It was the same thing every time- Go out for a fun activity and he crashes in.
âEnough.â Evangeline stated as her shadow un-merged with her and ripped apart Xeroâs drones like they were nothing but toys- âBefore you summon another batch of your dastardly vacuum cleaners take a moment to listen.â Evangeline commented.
âWeâve been doing the same thing since you arrived, You crash in with your plethora of machinery and I take you out in around 20 minutes or so.â Evangeline said with a raised eyebrow. âFurthermore itâs lacking the same entertainment, After all why does anyone do anything? Sheer absolute boredom!â Evangeline stated tapping her heel.
âIâve come to crave a new form of entertainmentâŚTherefore, I have a proposition for you. I will offer you half, A complete 50% of my turfâŚbut on one condition.â Evangeline offered with a smile.
Devin Pierce
âWhat donât want your ass bing saved from falling debris again by me, Iâll gladly be your fox in shining armorâ Cerys joked.
âBe my fox, but the armour isnât needed.â, Devin winked and gave Cerys a naughty grin.
âIâve come to crave a new form of entertainmentâŚTherefore, I have a proposition for you. I will offer you half, A complete 50% of my turfâŚbut on one condition.â Evangeline offered with a smile destroying Xeroâs drones.
âFinally! The end of an absolute boring event of nothing but destruction,â, Devin rolled his eyes, âMan, grow up and get laid. You need itâ, Devin commented under his breath.
Xero
Xero methodically circled the stage while he talked. There wasnât much to it, just the way he presented himself. Perception did play a large role, Xero was sure that there were statistics somewhere, those could be easily pulled up later. What mattered was the current moment, the ânowâ of all times.
âRegardless-â he managed before the defining crashing sound signalled from behind. Xero whirled around before throwing up an arm to shield himself from the shower of sparks that echoes across the expanse. All the drones, the time ad effort torn apart by shadows. His gauntlets flickered, overwhelmed with lost signals. Xero just pulled his hands into fists before facing Evangeline again.
âSheer absolute boredom is a valid reason for anything,â he retorted to her speech, âWhy do petty turf wars happen? Because I have time and I feel like it. Is this all really just entertainment you?â If Evangelineâs response upset him, Xero tired to not make it evident. What was she doing now? This had to be some sort of tactic. Why would an overload with that much capabilities wast powers on protectin worthless demons? Everyone in hell was here for a reason.
âUnfortunately, I did not come here for half the territory,â he said, âKeep your conditions to lesser demons.â With that, he charged up his blasters again, levelling them and firing off rapid shots. Screw chivalry, this was hell. Xero backflipped into a hovering platform right afterwards to gain more ground and better vantage point.
Evangeline Le Fay. I Location: Hotel Lobby.
âSheer absolute boredom is a valid reason for anything,â he retorted to her speech, âWhy do petty turf wars happen? Because I have time and I feel like it. Is this all really just entertainment you?â Xero stated.
Evangeline furrowed her eyebrows out of confusion momentarily, Clearly seeing through his facade, She sighed watching him lash out.
âUnfortunately, I did not come here for half the territory,â Xero said, âKeep your conditions to lesser demons.â With that, Xero charged up his blasters again, levelling them and firing off rapid shots.
To which Evangeline merely side stepped every shot. Evangelineâs shadowâs began to merge together and formed a giant claw that crushed Xeroâs platform and held him in a tight hold. Before he could even signal more drones she dug her sharp claws into his blaster ripping it off his hand.
âCalm down, Jaxon.â Evangeline said with a witty smirk, No need to proceed with the fight because I wonât continue- Obviously I wonât be giving up my full turf and our war will go on for eternity.
âAnd frankly that just doesnât seem like your genuine potential, I mean do you want to be known as the overlord who attacked his rival until the end of time. Werenât you a respected businessman before? Now all you do is plan your next attempt to overthrow me.â Evangeline stated.
âNow for my proposition, 50% of my turf in exchange for a mere week at the hotel.â Evangeline smiled as her body emitted a bright magenta glow as her hand lit up and her lips curled in a smile.
âAnd before you attempt to squirm out of my hold Iâll just crush your body in the matter of seconds.â Evangeline stated giving him a serious look.
Xero
His frustration at a certain point had to become immanent. The blasters were avant-garde, the finest in hell, and the absolute pinnacle of technology (or so he thought). Each energy bullet an efficient way of collecting and condensing power to make the movement of reloading obsolete. Everything was at top speed, there was no way Xero could have faltered on his aim, and yet, Evangaline managed to dodge them all. Not even one hit.
The shots had to be wider than to make up for her movement. Xero ran the new algorithm while hopping over the new shadows. Were the shadows claws now? Desperately, he leapt from the platform, not before something snatched at him. Xero glanced back down at the new pressure, the bloody coat. It was all snagged up by the shadows, the rest appearing before he could shrug the garment off.
Of course, Evangeline just watched from a far. Xero stared daggers at her with the mention of his real name, something that she definitely shouldnât have known. She kept talking while he tried maintaining his grip on the weapons. Even then, the shadows never seemed to tire out.
Her deal turned out to be redemption. That was it, that was all to it. She was that desperate for a working example of her âprojectâ that even giving up her territory was on the market. It wasnât there were plenty of other demons looking to live rent-free, eve Xero would ever stoop to that level.
Still, he continued to struggle as she talked. The shadows snaked tighter as Xero teetered on the edge of losing the feeling in his fingers. The whole situation was already drastically off the plan if there even was a plan left. Now, it was essentially just answering Evangelineâs long-awaited question. In a way, reputation was a valid concern. While her example of being known for continues attacks was proposed, it far outclasses being crushed to death by mere shadows, from a nemesis o less.
âDeal,â he muttered before repeating it at a more commanding volume, âOnly since youâre so desperate and because one week could never compare to the countless years most demons have spet here. Now let go.â And then he would have to make sure that something like that would never have to happen again.
Malcolm Prime
Malcolm dusted off his wings once again before standing for a better view of the fight. Most demons were gone at this point from all the commotion. He supposed that the Hazbin residents would soon vacate as well, just as soon as Evangaline dealt with her blue little ego-inflated mess. It certainly was interesting when the actual fight content was switched up this time.
âIt looks like everything is over then,â he said to the other demons, âSo, how do we feel about a new resident at the Hotel? I, for one, claim to not be anywhere near his floor.â
Cerys Evans
I tilt my head. âWait, heâs going to become a resident?â I ask confused. âDO YOU WANT THE HOTEL TO BE DISTROYED?â I exclaim. âI just have my doubts about what will happenâ I said with a frown. Thereâs no way heâs going to see the purpose of the hotel and change his actions, this is a lose for Eva and she doesnât even realize it.

Evangeline watched as Xero struggled to get out of her hold but desperation and his ego were on the line so of course he wasnât going to let his story end, Not like this.
âDeal,â Xero muttered before repeating it at a more commanding volume, âOnly since youâre so desperate and because one week could never compare to the countless years most demons have spet here. Now let go.â Xero commanded.
Evangeline smiled as the magenta light whisked into the air a symbol appeared solidifying the contract. âI assume you know the rules of breaking an Overlord contract.â Evangeline stated as her shadow claw dissolved and merged into her.
With a quick snap of her fingers the Theater was repaired and demons all over began to calm down and take their seats as Evangeline reassured everyone that the show will go on.
As she grabbed her mic once more the music began to play an upbeat jazzy tune as she laughed shooting a teasing glance at Xero and merely pushed him out of the way into a nearby seat.
As the lights dimmed to a various palette of blue, pinks, and magenta. She pulled every hotel resident including Xero on stage and began singing her melodic tune.
She changed Xero into formal wear to match the clubs atmosphere and slapped him on his back with an amused grin.
You have a dream,
You wish to tell,
And itâs just laughable
But, hey kid, what the hell?!
'Cause youâre one of a kind,
A charming demon belle!
Now, letâs give these burning fools a place to dwell
Take it, boys!
Evangelineâs shadowâs began performing on various of instruments as the horns and trumpets could be heard throughout the theater.
*Inside of every demon is a lost cause
(Ha)
But weâll dress them up for now with just a smile
Wicked smiles~!
*And weâll chlorinate this cesspool
With some old redemption flair
And show these simpletons some proper class and style
Class and Style!
(Oh!)
Here below the ground,
Iâm sure your plan is sound
Theyâll spend a little time
Down at this Hazbin Hotelllll
Evangeline finished the song as demons cheered and clapped she did a subtle bow and flashed a smile.
Malcolm Prime
There were going to be three overlords at the hotel now. Three. It was already chaotic enough with two and everyone was lucky that they were friends. There was going to be three now and the third one didnât even want to be there. Cerys was absolutely correct, the entire place would be destroyed. Granted, Evangeline would just fix everything in the end. Even now, the theatre was being reconstructed.
So this was happening now, Evangeline hadnât ever been wrong about anything before, Malcolm was still hesitant but he did trust her. Slowly as the place reconstructed itself, he had to step back several times to avoid flying debris. Stay positive, easy enough. Evangeline continued with her song as nothing had happened. If she could move on, so could he.
The song was faster this time, upbeat, lively. âYou two should definitely dance,â he said while jokingly nudging Cerys in Devinâs direction. Perhaps the night could be salvaged after all, quite literally with everything being rebuilt.
Above all that, Malcolm simply gazed at the stage from the railings where his seat was. Watching the fight earlier was quite a different view then Evangeline dragging a really confused Xero around on stage. It was entertaining as well on so many levels, though Malcolm could also guess that finding amusement in that was the reason he wasnât rehabilitated yet.
Devin Pierce
âYou two should definitely dance,â Malcolm said while jokingly nudging Cerys in Devinâs direction. Perhaps the night could be salvaged after all, quite literally with everything being rebuilt.
âI damn seriously wanted toâ, Devin nodded, âBut dancing requires a partner,â, He shrugged, âseeing how âmiss loveâ thinks Iâm something like a beast who is gonna eat her up, she probably would reject me. Being turned down by such a gorgeous woman would be such a disgrace to me. Iâm not willing enough to risk itâ, Devin joked.
âBesides she just too busy enjoying THE dramaâ, he added
He averted his piercing eyes at Cerys, âAm I right or am I right, Miss love?â, he smirked at Cerys.
Cerys Evans
I sigh and think. I should give him a chance - I thought and shook my head. âDancing donât always requires phiscal contact, so I donât mindâ I said smiling. âAnd donât take it personally, I see Malcolm also as a men eating beast if weâre going to use your wordsâ I said with a wink.

Evangeline hopped off stage as her shadow went to snag her drink from the counter she turned to Xero.
âYou will be a resident for the one week, If you stay for the week you will claim 50% of my turf, If you donâtâŚYou will receive a butt kicking.â Evangeline stated with a smirk.
The song suddenly changed as performs began a delightful melody rang throughout the theater, Demons began coupling up and slow-dancing.
It warmed Evaâs heart and brought her back to a time when she was alive, She sighed listening to the tune and tapping her foot. Having her shadow tap Devin on the shoulder to dance with Cerys.
Evangeline flashed a sly smirk to the two as her shadow pushed them together the shadow merged back with Evangeline as she shifted her weight and watched the stage.
Devin Pierce
âDancing donât always requires physical contact, so I donât mindâ Cerys said smiling.
Devin wanted to tell her so badly. I donât do dance without âphysical contactâ. - but no. He would probably miss the only chance.
âMalcolm, do we have any doctors here?â, Devin asked Malcolm, âThis lady suddenly got fever and now sheâs blabberingâ he added.
Cerys Evans
I chuckle at his joking response when suddenly Devin and I were pushed together by a shadow. My body tensed up and my heart started beating as panic kicked in. as soon as she shadow was gone, I instinctively pushed Devin off of me with as much force as I could, making him fall back. âI am so sorryâ I quickly said as I realized what I did. âI didnât mean to do that!â I exclaim as I fall on my knees next to him. âI-âŚâ I ask as I was holding my shaking hands together and looked at him apologetically. âAre you alright?â I asked in a soft voice.

Xero
He immediately made a break for the exit or anything that wasnât near the theatre at this point. The whole place was being rebuilt, all that work wasted, yet his ship and drones were left untouched and scrapped. The deal was made, Evangaline specifically said that the hotel visit was a week, nothing included staying at the theatre and Xero had quite the inventory to replace.
After more agonizing moments of being caught up in Evangalineâs song, he left the stage again but not before distinctively switching his outfit back to his normal. Evangeline could do her cheap magic tricks, but certainly, nothing that affected him. That song couldnât have ended faster. By the end, Xero had half a mind to stab the first passing demon. At least that left the space for the next song to switch on, another boring 1920s theme.
With that, there technically wasnât anything binding him to the theatre. Xero reset the dials on his gauntlets before striding toward the exit. Amidst the music, no one would notice. He could be at the hotel later tonight, but for now, that wasnât his problem.
@ForeverAngel - I know what youâre going to do, itâs not going to stop me
Evangeline Le Fay. I Location: Hotel Lobby.
Evangeline noticed Xeroâs attempt to sneak out she laughed merging into the shadow swiftly moving through the crowd and right behind Xero.
Just as his hand grabbed the handle Evangeline wacked him against the head.
âP*ss off Jaxon.â Evangeline stated with an eye roll, âAlways so quick to run off.â Evangeline said as she folded her arms.
She sighed and shifted her weight. âI was going to subject you to a slow dance but I think Iâve tortured you enough for tonight.â Evangeline laughed.
Eva noticed the limo arrive, âI expect you at the hotel later on, Iâll have your room set up momentarily.â Evangeline explained as she hopped over his body she turned back to him and bent down.
âGood work, Jaxon.â Eva teased and booped his unicorn horn with that she slipped into the limo and awaited the rest of the residents.
