Xero
Saying that this wasnât a ploy clearly showed that it was a ploy, finally something that he could decently exploit. For the time being, that certainly helped. Xero pulled his form across the room, splitting into pixels before reforming at a seated position across from Evangeline. The chair only dipped slightly at the new weight.
âDo you make it your personal business to âlearnâ about every demon that arrives here, or am I just special?â Xero let a faint smile flicker itâs way into his face.

Evangeline Le Fay. I Location: Hotel Lobby.
Evangeline continued to watch Xero until he split into pixels and reformed in a seat across from Eva. To which she pleasantly laughed. âI didnât know you could reform too.â Evangeline stated with a curious glance.
âApologies for theâŚchair. I think I got your measurements a bit wrong there I didnât thing you were that tall.â Evangeline stated as she took another sip of her coffee and placed it down on one of the hovering mats.
âDo you make it your personal business to âlearnâ about every demon that arrives here, or am I just special?â Xero let a faint smile flicker itâs way into his face.
Evangelineâs ears perked up at Xeroâs sudden comment, She felt flustered a bit but brushed it off quickly regaining her calm exterior, âHa! I make sure to learn about every resident that steps foot into my hotel.â Evangeline stated folded her arms.
âBesides, You just arrived, It would be rude and unprofessional to not give you a proper introduction.â Evangeline said clearing her throat and picking up her coffee to take another sip.

"Thatâs probably why Eva chooses the recreational bits for her activities. I would even go so far to say that Pentagram city is probably one of the best scenic places here. No wonder all the overloards constantly fight for this place.â At least that would explain last night.
âAnd about hating snow, canât say that Iâm not a fan of it, but I did see snow quite a lot. If I can ask, where did you grow up?â

âWhatâs wrong, Sweet Pea?â Luscious asked Devin in her sweet voice. âOh how sweet a sweet nickname sounds from a sweet voice! Too much sweetnessâ, Devin chuckled softly, âNothing, sweetieâ he answered.
âWell that is a shame.â She mused. âCall me Luscious. Or, you know, whenever you want to.â She quipped, winking at him. âYou have a beautiful name, Lusciousâ, Devin praised, âare you giving me the privilege to call you whenever I want?â, Devin winked.
âWhat a grand idea!â Luscious rose to her feet. âI was planning to do some landscaping today. You look like a big, strong man. Would you help me? If youâre not afraid of getting sweaty, that isâŚâ
âThanks for the complimentâ, Devin smirked proudly, âBut I canât promise before you tell me what I have to do⌠for youâ

Goodness, was this guy desperate. He was flirting do hard with her that he seemed to developed short-term memory, forgetting what sheâd said just seconds before. Although, her hips did seem to have that effect on a lot of men. Even though sheâd gotten used to people lobbing complements and flattery at her all day, something about Devinâs tone made his complements different. He must have been practicing for a while.
âI wonât need too much from you. Maybe just some heavy lift, some digging, a little bit of good adviceâŚâ She leaned over on the arm of her chair, her face inches from his as her vines entwined in a cozy frame around the two of them. ââŚMostly, though, I just want some good company. Your good company.â

Luscious had her vines entwined in a cozy frame around two of their faces which were just inches away from each other. Ah⌠Finally! I was getting bored here - he thought, impressed.
âI wonât need too much from you. Maybe just some heavy lift, some digging, a little bit of good adviceâŚâ He said.
âThat, I can do happily.â, Devin agreed, âSomething tells me that you will like my help. I have eyes for beautyâ, Devin winked. And that was true.
ââŚMostly, though, I just want some good company. Your good company.â
Devin backed off a little and bowed.
âThen Devin Pierce is at your duty, Miss Lusciousâ

She giggled at him. âYay! My very own sexy manservant.â She put on the haughty face of a Queen confornting one of her subjects. âYou may arrise.â She joked before helping him up from his bow. She squeezed his hand. âWait for me by the main enterance. Iâll just need to fetch some things.â

It quickly started to feel like Evangeline was creating faults of her own relating to the chair sizes. Xero was perfectly fine with them, not without some frustration on the actual accuracy, but the chair was fine nevertheless. If Evangeline was trying to find excuses it was most likely because she was sensing his discomfort and reacting accordingly. That was even worse than just thinking that everything was too perfect.
In turn, it just made Xero more annoyed because, how much was he giving away with his posture? It was already too much from the likes of it. At least the saving grace was Evangelineâs temporary falter in her own exterior when he poised his question. A small victory, but it proved the way for more of that kind in the future.
He decided to play off that for now. âI suppose this welcoming procedure must be really rehearsed by now then.â Xero stood before offering a hand to Evangeline, âIn that case, a tour would be sufficient. Lead the way.â

âI grew up in Denmark, moved to London when my father got the chance to write for Richfield Newsâ I explain. âI believe I was around the age of 12 when we movedâ I said. âQuite a difference I have to say. London was already a breathing city while I was used to a quiet farm lifeâ I added. âWhat about you?â I ask.

âLondon, eh? I heard it either rained or snowed there. Either way, itâs a lovely city. Iâm from Toronto, Ontario. Quite a big city for the region, but thatâs where my job as an anchor was. Had to move there early on, at least the studio was big,â Malcolm responded. Nice, they were already onto personal information. Perhaps this whole hotel conundrum wasnât so bad after all. Having a few extra friends never hurt anyways.
âThough itâs also been some time since we started talking. Usually, the activity would have been explained by now, but Evangeline doesnât seem to be back yet. Do you want to try to find her?â Or Malcolm was just being paranoid about the time. Of course, there was the added effect of Toothfairy still being in the room.

Luscious giggled at Devin . âYay! My very own sexy manservant.â she said.
âYou may arise.â She joked . When she was helping Devin from his bow, Devin took her hand gracefully and placed a small kiss.
âAs you command, my ladyâ, He winked at Luscious before he walked away to the main entrance.

Approachable?
âSomething tells me sheâs busy with our new guestâ I say, seeing how they are the only ones missing. âBesides, whereâs the rush?â I ask with a grin. âWe have all day, a half hour later wonât hurt anyone, weâre not even done with the pancakes yetâ I added.
