â˘mood swings
â˘losing some friends
â˘knowing that Iâm doing something dumb, but not knowing what to do against it
â˘being asked about relationships and crushes way too often
â˘being told that I should lose some weight because I wonât find a boyfriend otherwise ()
â˘seeing everyone around me become more annoying and childish
I think my worst experience was definitely the hair. People made fun of it for being greasy they used to call me names like âsunflower oilâ and âbarcodeâ (because of the fringe ) to the extent where I had bad tonsillitis so I had gone to the doctor where there was this boy who used to make fun of me on the bus, he turned to his Dad and told him what they all call me and his Dad laughed. It had a very negative affect on me to the point where I washed it every day and it got really overwashed and unhealthy. Part of growing up for some people involves greasy hair and I wasnât the only one in my year who struggled, all I know is that I tried so hard to keep my hair at a point that people didnât make fun of it.
Fast forward and I decide I want to get my hair dyed, it couldnât be more healthy now. I wash it once a week and itâs never been/felt better.
Always remember that if somebody canât fix something within ten seconds you shouldnât bring it up.
The stretch marks that I got from the growth spurt are still pointed out by people. Say for example if I raise my arms and my shirt goes up a bit people will see the marks on my lower back and be like âohhh where did you get those?â
Greasy hair is terrible, I know how you feel. I always feel the need to wash my hair each time I have a shower because Iâd feel dirty. I usually shower after a workout at the gym because of course youâd be sweaty and wouldnât want to go somewhere smelling of sweat. Puberty sucks big time!
Stretch marks? Donât think I can relate to that because I never have them but celluliteâs, definitely because theyâre absolutely embarrassing when you want to wear something that you like.
Yeah cellulite is definitely a struggle but I hear there are creams that can reduce it.
As for stretch marks they kinda fade over time mine used to be purple but they went white over time, you can still see them but they arenât as obvious.
