What’s annoying is that the “just drink water” club have face-filters on and makeup when talking about how they got clear skin… like isn’t that cheating?
Also when girls wear waist trainers (I wear it when I work out or if I want to wear a nice dress so I don’t look like a blob), they wear waist trainers and lie about losing all the weight like in a week.
Weight loss isn’t magical. You gotta be patient and consistent!
This is why I stopped using IG because it triggered an eating disorder.
The waist trainer thing is just like the SugarBearHair pills. The influencers wear hair extensions whilst saying that the pill improved their hair. Also the pill only “works” for the same hair textures.
Don’t listen to the Kardashians as they are actually promoting body image problems and eating disorders with the products they’re selling. Kudos to Jameela Al Jamil for exposing the hell out of them!
Here’s one of my favourite fitness instructors on YouTube and he’s absolutely funny!
And people saying that there is one way to do it, when all of our bodies are different with different ways to lose weight. Besides that, I haven’t really seen anything except for those like weight loss pill things oof.
I think that people in general should be concerned with staying healthy rather than losing weight- if you need to lose weight than go for it! I’m trying to be more healthy, and I’ve realized that I’m actually skinny/average, but because of all the media about losing weight I feel bad about my body.
Worst weightloss myth - that perfectly healthy people still need to lose ‘a few more pounds’.
Hear it constantly. It’s not helpful. Stop doing this. The only person you should listen to in regards to your body is yourself, and your doctor. No-one else’s opinion has any bearing whatsoever
