Holding snakes - Yes or No?

I love holding snakes so much, since snakes don’t scare me at all I am quite fond of them. But I do know some of you are scared of snakes or are just not keen on the idea of holding them.

Would you hold a snake?

Nope, not unless I really had no choice in the matter. We have too many snakes that are dangerous if they bite where I live. Heck, my mini Doxin Mickey tried to square off with a snake in the yard last few weeks. Luckily, we got him inside before it could get him. It wasn’t poisonous but it was part of the constricter subspecies.

Still remember the time where I held a baby copperhead back during freshman year of high school just before the homecoming game.

I have actually held a snake at my school’s zoo day. It was harmless, it just kept swirling around my hand and I got scared it would bite me :joy:

But it was a non-venomous snake so it was fun to play with

I’ve had a big mustard yellow snake around my neck once! I loved it. :heart_eyes_cat:

Nope. Not gonna happen. I don’t even like being within three metres of a snake, let alone hold one in my hand.

My brother’s held one though.
