Short Backstory: Misha was born to a very poor single mother that tried her best to raise him despite knowing that the outcome was less than favorable. She tried her best but always struggled to care for both him and herself. When Misha was three she became ill and knew she had no choice seeing as she would not be able to care for him. Misha was taken to an orphanage and left in hopes of him receiving a better life. Misha struggled there to form relationships with anyone, many thought that he was strange and he personally never felt like he could connect well with anyone. He would rather keep to himself than reach out for more people to hurt him by leaving him. When he was 12 was the first time he saw a monster and he didnāt know how to react. He ran away wanting to make sure that no one was hurt because of him. He lived on the streets and watched a few powers develop as time went on. They never thrived but learned how to survive as a street child and avoid monsters by hiding and disappearing in plain sight. He was one day approached by someone who could see the monsters too and had explained to him that he was a demigod and offered him a place to come. Misha gladly accepted the offer.
Personality<<
Misha is rather pessimistic but overly stubborn and will fight tooth and nail for anything. He is not overly social and honestly struggles in social situations that involve more than about five people, he would like nothing more than to be left to his own devices because he is more used to being as far from the center of attention as possible. He is a bit standoffish at first but that is only because he doesnāt know how to take people. He likes to make a few close connections over many shallow ones. He has never had much for a family so tries to build one out of people he feels safe around any chance he gets.

Liliya had grown up without a mother figure in her life. When she was little, her father told her that her mother was someone really special but he would never tell her why. Despite that, she kept her close in the form of a rainbow pendant her father had given her. He also told her that no one could replace her, which is why he never remarried. Her childhood was rather uneventful, until she hit her teenage years and strange things began to happen.
One day, she found that she was able to change her eye colour with her mood and conjure up illusions out of thin air. The more frightening of the changes in her life being the monster attacks. The first time one happened, it frightened her to the point where she wouldnāt leave the house for several weeks. Although she didnāt spend that entire time cowering in fear. She was training herself, using an old broomstick to learn how to fight with a bo staff. Ever since then, sheās never left her house without her retractable bo staff, which she keeps in her backpack.
After years she had gotten well at defending herself and no longer felt unsafe leaving her house but the monster attacks only got worse. They began happening more and more often and soon Liliya began to question whether her home was safe for her, and by extension, her father. When she told her father about the monsters, disguising them as nightmares. It was then that he finally told her the truth behind who her mother was and the significance of her rainbow pendant. Soon after that, she was approached by someone who offered her a spot at a house for demigods like her in America, where she could be safe from the monsters. Knowing it was the right choice, she accepted.
Personality<<
Liliya is always ready for anything, though for her, that means that sheās always on edge, ready to run, attack, or both at a momentās notice. She comes off as stiff and apathetic but if you can get her to relax, youāll see that she actually smiles very easily and just about anything will make her laugh. Sheās a leader, not a follower and would rather work on her own than have to follow someone elseās instructions.

Jace has lived most of his life on the run. When he was a kid he lived with his mom in a small apartment in Queens and even though he never knew who his father was, he was content. Until his abilities awakened and he got a weird feeling when his mom was leaving for work like it was the last time he was going to see her. It turned out that he was right. She never made it home that night. His mom would be the first of many people who Jace could tell were near death. Now-orphaned, he didnāt wait around for someone to find him and take him away. Instead, he packed up anything that meant something to him and bought himself the first bus ticket out of town that he could. When he got off the bus, somewhere in Massachusetts, that was the first time he saw one of the monsters. With nothing to defend himself, he raised his hands over his head to protect himself, discovering another one of his new abilities. After that, taught himself how to fight so that he wouldnāt have a repeat of the first attack.
Since then, he has travelled from state to state, never staying in one place long enough to make friends or call it home. To him, every house or apartment is temporary. Just another stop in the journey of his life. He was getting ready to leave his current city when someone approached him about a house for people like him. He figured there was no point in refusing since he was going to have to find a new place to live anyway, but who knows? Maybe this place will stick.
Personality<<
Jace is very much a lone wolf. He hates having to rely on anyone for anything and believes that heāll get things done faster if he just does everything by himself. Heās confident in the decisions he makes and will always defend the choices he makes. While his ability to know when people are near death phased him when he first discovered it, he has since become desensitized to it and pretty much everything else. He rarely shows his emotions in front of other people but when he does, itās always explosive and rarely happiness.
