How did it go when you first promoted your story?

Personally the only stories I ever would promote were my Episode ones on the EF. They went pretty well considering I posted on the RFR and the Share your Story threads. Got a couple reads. I don’t know if I’d do RFR again but I might try sharing my stories (novels, wattpad, and Episode) again on this promoting section of the forums, though not on the EF.

The first story I promoted was Diary of a Middle School Teacher. I did a few r4rs, but didn’t gain any loyal readers. I requested a few reviews on EF and Instagram, and those were much more helpful because the reviewers pointed out my mistakes and what I could do to make my story better.
