How do you feel about traditions in general?

How do you feel about traditions? Do you think they’re more positive or negative when it comes to its outcomes in generations ??

For me, it’s so dependent on the tradition because I like to look at the psychological and mental aspects of it, and socially, so it’s hard to generalize my opinion lmaooo.

I don’t know. It really depends on what we’re talking about but generally I do like the idea of traditions. It’s fun

Yes, it depends on the tradition.

  • Family gathering for the holidays: Awesome!
  • Family ostracizing LGBTQ+ family members because of supposed religion or some other kind of prejudice: Not awesome!

Traditions are a thing where I’m like
They can be a cool, fun community/family thing
Plenty of traditions are super harmless and rad

They can also be outdated and actually kinda not worth having or at least worth looking into. There just seem to be too many cases where people refuse to admit a tradition was made because of racist/homophobic/sexist reasons or that it at least has those connotations. Like, they refuse to look at it with any kind of nuance.
