When we meet people, we usually greet them with a hug, kiss on the cheek or with a simple wave from afar. Us Indians greet people with joined hands in front of us which you can also call a Namaste. Some of us also greet our elders by bowing down and touching their feet as a sign of respect.
Sooo, how do you greet your friends, family or other people you meet? Are you friendly at the first sight or a person with selectively-social tendencies?
I think that with the current pandemic situation and the whole social distancing thing, we might have almost forgot how it is to socialize by now (I mean, I nearly have ) so… perhaps this topic might help a little in resurging those memories

(Welp, that’s the Episode Bad Boy way of greeting, I guess…)
I usually wave and say ‘hi’, but I won’t reject a hug and a kiss on the cheek if someone wants to greet me that way. (Well, before the virus; now we can’t). If it’s close friends and family, then sometimes I might hug them.
I hate the habit we have in my country of going around and kissing every single person in the room when you arrive and you leave. I prefer just saying ‘hi’ and ‘bye’ to everyone in general.
I give people hugs if I know them. Though, if I don’t know, then I make them very uncomfortable by waving frantically at them (to the point where it is definitely over the top) while grinning like the Cheshire Cat.
I also meow at my cat and talk to her. I bark back at dogs who are overly noisy too.
