But very sociable online
Lol, so true

I’ll make eye contact, then give them an awkward smile, and then raise both my eyebrows as a sign of my greetings
(I’m very awkward around people I’m not close with)
But when it’s a friend, I casually wave my hand at them and sometimes I even grab their hands or give them a high five. And if it’s a close friend or a best friend, I say “hi” enthusiastically and then give them a hug.
And if it’s an old person, I give them my greetings by performing “pagmamano”; it’s a gesture here in our country in which we place an older person’s hand in our forehead as a sign of respect.
Wait for them to greet me ----

awkwardly
Depends. Complete strangers - polite awkwardness usually with a wave or a handshake. My parents and brothers - usually a hug of some sort. Other family members - an awkward hug. Friends - waayyyy more casual, usually with ‘hey’ or ‘yo’, sometimes a hug depending on the friend.
I call it “staring into the depths of their soul with my face until they get creeped out and walk away”
That’s… an interesting way to greet someone
I cross the street to the other side so I don’t have to
Pretend like I’m texting someone and walk right past them.
I just ignore most people lmao
How can you greet someone by ignoring them, though
“The art of introversion”
Ok –
Person: “Hi! How are you?”
Me: ignores and prays to god that his/her feelings aren’t hurt
Person: feelings hurt

If I know them well enough, I scream “HIIIIII”. Otherwise, I just smile/wave and say “hey”.
