Piercing infections can become very serious if left untreated, so it’s important to know when your piercing has become infected. If there’s anyone here who has experience with piercings, how do you know when a piercing has become infected?

Yeah, pain and pus was what I was gonna say. Maybe even discolouration too.

I had an infected ear piercing once. It was red and painful.

Yup. Me too. It was swollen too. Had to pull the stud backwards through the hole. That was horrendous.
