I usually pinch my nose at the end of the soft part and tilt my head forwards. If I can, I make a washcloth wet and put it at the back of my neck.
Just kinda push a tissue gently against my nose and wait till the bleeding stops. This happened like 5 or 6 times in my life of which 3 were during a flight which sucked…
I honestly don’t remember the last time I had a nosebleed. I think I only did twice but when I was a child.
I know you should only tilt your head forwards, never lean back. It prevents the blood from going down your throat and that could cause some problems! And you should never put things up your nose, it can make it worse.
I had one when i was a kid and i panicked but i dont even remember what i did I JUST REMEMBER THAT I DIDNT GO TO SCHOOL THAT DAY AND MISSED A TEST I DIDNT STUDY FOR
Hold a tissue to my nose, keeping some pressure. Be careful about the position of my head, otherwise I’ll have blood try to pour down my throat. Keep additional tissues nearby, or a washcloth if available, to replace the blood covered one/s against the nose.
When it’s a light nosebleed you can stick the corner of a tissue in to help.
When it’s really bad, sometimes something cool at the back of the neck can help.
Also, having the washcloth damp with water and against the nose can be useful sometimes.
I get nosebleeds quite often, sometimes really bad, and other times it’s just a matter of having a tissue nearby to be good to go within a minute or two.
I’ve never had a nose bleed. My twin brother was always the one to get them. The only time I had one was when a dude accidentally elbowed me in the nose during fencing class. I just used a tissue.
