Nosebleeds can often be difficult to manage and there’s really nothing you can do but wait for them to stop. How do you manage a nosebleed? Share your tips down below!
I usually pinch my nose at the end of the soft part and tilt my head forwards. If I can, I make a washcloth wet and put it at the back of my neck.
Never got one but I heard people stuff tampons in their nose innit
Just kinda push a tissue gently against my nose and wait till the bleeding stops. This happened like 5 or 6 times in my life of which 3 were during a flight which sucked…
I honestly don’t remember the last time I had a nosebleed. I think I only did twice but when I was a child.
I know you should only tilt your head forwards, never lean back. It prevents the blood from going down your throat and that could cause some problems! And you should never put things up your nose, it can make it worse.
I had one when i was a kid and i panicked but i dont even remember what i did I JUST REMEMBER THAT I DIDNT GO TO SCHOOL THAT DAY AND MISSED A TEST I DIDNT STUDY FOR
I used to have a hugeeeeeeeeee nosebleed problem (like pretty much at least once a day)
I usually pinch the part right below the nose bridge until the bleeding stops a bit, then I stick some kleenex up my nose until it completely stops
Hold a tissue to my nose, keeping some pressure. Be careful about the position of my head, otherwise I’ll have blood try to pour down my throat. Keep additional tissues nearby, or a washcloth if available, to replace the blood covered one/s against the nose.
When it’s a light nosebleed you can stick the corner of a tissue in to help.
When it’s really bad, sometimes something cool at the back of the neck can help.
Also, having the washcloth damp with water and against the nose can be useful sometimes.
I get nosebleeds quite often, sometimes really bad, and other times it’s just a matter of having a tissue nearby to be good to go within a minute or two.
It does lowkey make sense tho
OMG I get nosebleeds all the time it’s so weird. Usually I just hold a tissue and wait for it to stop
I’ve never had one, so I wouldn’t have known what to do if it ever happened to me. But this thread is useful if I ever get a nosebleed.
I lie down on a bed without a pillow, and wet a cloth and keep it on my forehead or nose.
I’ve never had a nose bleed. My twin brother was always the one to get them. The only time I had one was when a dude accidentally elbowed me in the nose during fencing class. I just used a tissue.
