How do you think music affects tv? I’d say that it can help with suspenseful and romantic scenes by getting you into the mood.
Music can literally make or break a show imo
It really can!
I feel like I have to pop this in here, but for those of you who have seen the Hannibal (2013) tv show, this one song is like the definition of angst. Literally made the scene iconic. Yes, it’s spoilers, but the show ended like five years ago so that’s on you.
Love Crime - song name
TW: Contains blood and gore
It sets the scene and can make a scene appear sweet, creepy, or depressing, depending on the background music used there. Sometimes it even heightens the tension in a very suspenseful scene.
This fits really well. Though I just added a trigger warning tag.
Death Note music was
Ahhhh
I have some of em on my Spotify Playlist
The World is my favorite.
Ooh nice, but I love Low of Solipsism
I only know The World.
@Music What to do you think? How does music affect shows?
I think it’s just really helpful to set the right atmosphere in any kind of show.
I agree with that. Music can change a whole movie. Songs hold a strong power.
Agreed. It also helps to establish the emotion of each scene.
Yeah. It makes the deaths even sadder. Probably why I cried for five minutes a couple days ago.
TRUE! And it makes horrors/thrillers “scary” and exciting. Otherwise that’d be comedies. Person runs upstairs and hides in room. Sees killer standing next to them in room. Without music, that scene would be only a comedy.
