How long did it take you to find your own art style?

A lot of artists have their own distinctive style. I still draw things in a ton of different ways, so I wouldn’t really say that I’ve fully developed my art style yet. However, some people have some really clear art styles that look amazing!

How long did it take you to find your art style? Is it still changing or is it fairly well-defined?

Tagging @AnnSza and @idiot.exe because their art is amazing

:pleading_face::two_hearts: yours is amazing too

I think I have a somewhat consistent art style now, before I used to change it every few weeks. But then again, I don’t draw that often, and I recently tried a new way to draw lips so that’s a change. I don’t think I’ll ever have a consistent style tbh-

I figured out how to draw fingers instead of the stubs in the first drawing.

I want to know, I still don’t have one and I want one. My art is :see_no_evil::pleading_face::sob::wave:

I haven’t really got one, I keep mixing different styles and I’ve been doing it for more than two years. :eyes:

I dunno how i found my style- even if i have a stable style… :flushed::gun: Usually with every painting i do something differently. But i look at some other artists and see what i like about their art- i guess my style is just a mixture from everything that i’ve learnt over the years :ping_pong::ping_pong:

I don’t know how long exactly it took for traditional art, but it only took a few months for me to find my digital art style (probably because I already had experience with traditional art, so it was easier for me to figure it out) :eyes::sparkles:

Do you wish you had discovered your art style sooner?
How did you know that you finally found your style? :eyes::sparkles:
