I think I’m turning into a pretty fast writer lately, but I’m not really sure. It takes me around an hour to write a chapter for my story, fix the layout and proofread it. Each chapter has around 1000 words. Just writing without proofreading takes me around half an hour, I think.
How long does it take you to write one chapter?
And how many words do your chapters have? (so we can compare and see what the average writing time is

A month! Depends on my motiviation. I sometimes, procrastinate. Or lose interest. Or just try to read other stories to get my motivation back and then work on a chapter.
Sometimes, it takes a few hours, sometimes it takes years. It depends on my energy level, and if I forget the story exists (lol)

I’d say, it’d take a month.
I’ve noticed that most of my chapters have 4000-5000 words. If I have a very clear idea of what’s supposed to happen, motivation, time, and energy, it can take maybe two days.
If not, it can take weeks, months, or even years.

Totally not as slow as me. I take weeks… mainly due to procrastination.
For me now a long time almost impossible to get one page done but it used to depend on my mood and inspiration.
If I wanted to I could write one chapter (about 10 pages) in either 3 hours or so.
If I wasn’t in a flow it could take about 3 days
Anywhere from a day to a couple weeks, depending on how much time I put into it. Most of the time, it’s three days to a week. I go in spurts where I might do a chapter in a day or two, but they don’t last long. My chapters are 3,000-5,000 words.
For me it can take anywhere from two weeks to a month. Dialogue and outlining take about five days. The rest is figuring out is coding.
If I go by actual speed of word typing and thinking it’s about 500 per hour and I wrote for a 3000 goal is 6 hours plus 1 to 2 hours of editing so 7-ish hours
If I count in between time it’s way too random xD like from either 3 days to 3 months xD

I usually spend a week or two and then proofread the other chapters to make it long or short. I usually look at other books for guidance.

Depends on my mood. Sometimes my motivation is so bad I can only write a few lines. And sometimes I can get two episodes done
