I dressed up as Ginger Spice from the Spice Girls when I was 13. It was for a singing number during a preteen beauty pageant that I was in.
I sang “Say You Will Be There” and wore a glittery aqua-colored dress and silver sandals with wedge heels. I had dyed my hair red with blonde highlights prior to the pageant.

Oh! And for a talent show in the eighth grade, my friends and I dressed up as Diana Ross and the Supremes, and we sang “Stop! In the name of love!”

Just observe what they usually wear and if they have iconic features, then emphasise them! Every band has they own style so I don’t have a specific answer.
