How to get the :) without the emoji?

So I believe some people want to use the :) and they can’t because it turns into the emoji and that’s not what they want. So basically if you want smiley without the emoji (or any kind of emoji symbol similar), before you put the ) you want to hit blur spoiler, and delete the text that appears with it. So then it should look like this:

And there you go. :)
