If you could be fluent in four languages, which languages would you choose? And why? What of those languages has sparked your interest in them? What’s unique? Why do they stand out?
To be honest, I wish I was more fluent in Arabic, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. Arabic especially because people close to me speak fluently as their from the Middle East, and Japanese cos well… anime, Japan, their culture, it’s all pretty meaningful.
What about you? Is any of the four languages you could automatically be fluent in some that you are already studying?
Igbo (Well, I’m igbo and I know how to speak little igbo but I am not fluent in it and of course I am made fun of by my family members because of this) Korean (because they are beautiful words that have no English translation and I love that I guess) Arabic (I’ve been interested in romantic poetry again and Arabic has a lot of good romantic quotes) and Swahili (it so beautiful and I love it)
