There are a lot of different types of children’s books! Picture books, fairy tales, rhyming books…
So, if you had to write a children’s book, what would it be about?
I think I would go for a fairy tale, probably about mermaids! It would definitely be filled with illustrations! 
Some kind of minority/world problem/things people don’t talk about but should.
Just in a child accessible way
As a child, I was fascinated by books revolving around adventure and mystery. So probably those genres.
It would be a fairy tale and be called
“The girl who lost her muse” - it is about a young female child who lost her best friend either by death or by popularity and it will have a message to kids about friendship or something.
Probably a ‘diary of…’ type of book, where a kid would explain the world from their perspective.
Something trying to normalize LGBTQ+ stuff, I think that teaching children that that’s totally normal is really important
