The ancient igbo religion is known as Odinani, Odinani has both monotheistic and pantheistic attributes mixed together because of the fact that In Igbo they belief in one single god as the creator of all though (Chineke- also used for the Christian God in igbo) but who created multiple gods (minor gods) to help them in their succession.
