Is a pet's name as important as a kid's name?

In your opinion, is a pet’s name as important as a kid’s name?

Some people act as if a pets name is soooo important and I understand that with dogs or cats. But I have a friend who spent a week on finding the perfect name for her spider… who’ll never even hear its name. And I don’t really understand that :joy:

All spoodlers are called Steve or Boris pffft
Jk call your pet what you want :joy:

Hmm I can understand people seeing pet’s names as important as kids names, I wouldn’t judge

I name everything :joy: even inanimate objects so I’m not in a place to be saying much

I understand how people find it as important but I think pet names are a little more playful. For example, you can’t name your child “Bubbles” :joy:

No, pet names are not as important as kid’s names.

One reason that I say this is because pets don’t get judged for their names but humans do.

Nope. You can name a pet “loser” and everyone laughs. Name your child that and people give you weird looks.:white_heart:

I mean I’m judging someone who names anything loser pet or not :eyes: that’s just mean

Iusually just name pets whatever I think is cute or fitting. I don’t have any children yet, though I assume that I’ll put a lot more thought into the name rather than just whatever comes to mind.

What do you guys think, @Discussions?
