I think it really depends on the person. If you’re too nice, people might try to take advantage of that kindness. However, if you’re self-aware and you can recognize the possible intentions of the people around you, then it won’t be “too much” at least for you. Though if you are “too nice”, people might also be skeptical of you.
Do you ever feel like you’re being too nice or someone you’re talking to is too nice?
I don’t go out of my way to be all nice and sweet or whatever but I do make sure I’m not leading them on with my tone to make them think I’m actually interested.
With another person, I don’t pay attention to how nice they are being when saying something but what’s being said.
I know that it can be overwhelming for some people but it mostly only has a bad affect on the person being nice themselves since people may just see them as a pushover and take advantage
